I do not have a complete information about the educational background of Tsadqan Gebre-Tinasaé but what I know about him is that he speaks good English and standard Tigrigna very well. The latter is striking for a Tigrayan. Having said that I disagree with your last point. Duket was correct when PMAA used it at that time. He meant utter defeat as attested by Tsadqan Gebre-Tinsaé himself. I do not think he was talking about the duket that is used to make ሊጥ !
