The constitution that remade Ethiopia into an ethnic based state was ratified in 1994, while bodies were floating down Kagera River. While genocide was being facilitated by identification cards that advertise your ethnicity, TPLF decided to enforce the same rules in Ethiopia.
TPLF institutionalized animosity between the Amhara & the Oromo, which it tended to for three decades. TPLF always portrayed itself, as the only group that can avert imminent bloodshed between the two groups and the disintegration of Ethiopia.
The third protagonist in TPLF's evil play were the people of Tigray. TPLF worked day & night to convince Tigrayans not only their prosperity & growth, but also their survival was contingent on TPLF. It created an ever present sense of impending doom & 'genocide' in their minds.
TPLF, avid students of genocide and its implications, tried and succeeded in manufacturing not only the notion of impending genocide but also past genocide. Remember how members of the Derg were charged with genocide?!
Whenever there is a genuine threat of losing power as in 2005, TPLF|s go to bogeyman was 'Interahamwe'
After the TPLF started the war, their supporters and enablers started a campaign of disinformation that the GoE was waging a genocidal war, within 24 hours of the start of the war.
Once ENDF withdrew, the TPLF went back to the drawing board, and true to form the first thing that popped into their mind was 'genocide.' It looks like, they came up with three plans.
Plan A: Stage a fake massacre (currently being laundered by @nimaelbagir and CNN.) As I tried to show in my previous thread, it is very likely that the TPLF would continue dumping bodies into Tekeze as long as this campaign of disinformation is alive.
However, they also know that the Nima/Berhe charade could be blown into pieces the day the GoE decides to send a couple of people with a camera into Humera to show the world the truth about the places
@berhe_lucy claims are 'concentration camps' and 'mass graves.'
Plan B: Now that the TPLF is losing on many fronts, it has started committing massacres in the hopes of instigating retaliation against ethnic Tigrayans by ENDF/ASF/Fano. TPLF's hoping, that such an event would make it more likely for its allies to invoke R2P.
Plan C: If Ethiopian forces defeat TPLF & decide to cross into Tigray, as a last resort TPLF might actually commit massacre masquerading as Ethiopian forces to create the impression that the long feared 'genocide' is happening & give its allies one last chance to invoke R2P.
Not understanding (or not wanting to) TPLF's decades long love affair with genocide, MSMs like CNN & HR groups and UN/US/EU/UK officials are making the occurence of large scale massacres in Ethiopia more likely by aiding and abetting TPLF. #BloodOnYourHands
For TPLF, genocide has always been part of the plan! It's not a passing infatuation, but a union forged in hell. Let's make the MSMs complicity, untenable. Let's write letters to editors of news outlets, our representatives/MPs & local newspapers.
