Governments that rely on drone technology to fight against terror groups are placing high value on their soldiers' lives. Smart, very smart! I honestly believe that PM Abiy is one of God's greatest gifts to the Ethiopian people. It is his faith in God that's protecting him from evil. Fear no evil.

It is in deed a brilliant idea by the new Ethiopian military thinking. Ethiopia doesn't project power beyond her own borders; that means she does not needs long distance flight capable expensive Migs and Fs. The Ethiopian Air Force is now led by drones and other smart weapons and smart machines. Abiy is big on Artificial Intelligence and it is a blessing we have him. Drones cost anywhere from 1 to 2 million a piece and with no pilot loss risk. Training a single expert pilots costs way more than the cost of a drone. And, there is no equal value to human life. Add to that the number of casualties the army avoids with its ground forces. Simply brilliant idea! I say Bravo our to our new set of military thinkers.
