I think Abiy Ahmed's procrastination as far as giving key official positions outside of Oromo will cost him. As we hear much of the government especially of security and defense system are crowded with OLF-PP, an exact copy from its predecessor TPLF. In reality, OLF-PP are trying doing the same mess as TPLF. They are not supporting him in full hear and are saboteurs. However, this will cost Abiy. Putting the right person for the right job, regardless of the person being Oromo, Amhara, etc is important. The domination of Addis Ababa by ethnic thugs is very dangerous for the stability of the country. It is unhealthy for Addis Ababa to be dominated by Oromuma forces - it will backfire upon PP itself. It was your turn and now is mine is not a smart calculation. Addis Ababa police system has to be free from occupation of ethnic federal system mind and Addis Ababa has to be a separate and independent federal entity. For sure, this is what is going to happen in the end, but it will take everyone through a rough political terrain.
