Abiy Ahmed Ali is being used by Eritrea to continue the war in Tigray and Oromia. Unitary state is possible through national consensus not war. We can decide with a referendum whether we want ethnic federalism or not.
We need to stop the war. It is senseless. It is brother against brother, sister against sister with no fundamental animosity. Tigray and Amhara have lived for 3000 years. We need to make compromises regarding internal boundaries. If war continues, it is the people of Ethiopia who will suffer not the armed groups of TDF or OLF.
