Addis Ababa, September 4, 2021 (FBC) – The Republican Guard has claimed decisive victory against the terrorist TPLF forces in Mersa areas at a particular place called Dire Roqa.

The terrorist forces were marching through four directions via Chobe, Kelenti, Serti and Kela attempting to control Mille Highway in Afar region when encountered heavy counterattack from the Republican Guard Forces.

According to the National Defense Forces Public Relations and Communications Directorate, 431 forces have been neutralized as 60 Kalashnikovs, 3 Bren Guns, 2 snipers and 1 Communication radio captured by the Republican Guard.
