I think that is the time he mentioned. No, 40 years is a short time. Ethiopia alone needs at least 20 years to become an industrial 2nd or first world country. 40 years to unite Africa into a single country is a very reasonable vision. We are talking about a person who 50 today will live to see UAS as one country taking a train ride to South African state for over night business travel. Remember TPLF ruled Addis Abeba for 30 years. I don't care about where he's coming from, as my comment is not directed at him in particular. It's the united Africa rhetoric that I rather find ridiculous as it's currently impracticable and that all Africans have been doing with this regard to date is paying lip service to the idea and airing empty bravado.

It's obvious PM Abiy didn't travel to Uganda to talk about uniting Africa, as he's finding it hard uniting Ethiopians.
