የአገራችን አደራ አለብን: Let Us Heal the Tata in Ethiopia with the Enku of Love
A country that was never colonized by European powers has instead been colonized by her own people as we value outside acceptance and destroy ourselves from within. We call our Sendek Alema (flag) bandira, an Italian word that our forefathers fought against Adwa. We call ourselves Habesha, an insulting word that means etan lekami (frankincense picker) as we erase Ethiopia in the process. People who don’t know their history will soon enough perish, we are well on our way towards oblivion.
Ethiopians are deeply connected to God yet our actions belie our faiths on a regular basis. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all advise against turning to idols yet we can’t help ourselves as we worship personalities and bow before the rich and famous. Every leader throughout the world, including Abiy, Meles, Mengistu and Haile Selassie before them sold their souls to globalist serpents to gain power and yet we prostrate ourselves before them as if they are the second coming of Eyesus. In the process, we have ingested the poison of grievance politics as we protest about tribal causes while ignoring the plight of our brothers and sisters who belong to different clans...continued...

My unvaccinated brother from another mother,
when the covid pandemic finally ends, we promise to name a street after you in Adwa, Tigray, to honor your contribution to the promotion of conspiracy theories.

When you reveal your real name and show your face in public instead of hiding behind computers, come talk to me, I am at Tseday's cafe at the moment in Alexandria, VA. Unlike you, i do not hide behind fake names and fake accounts. At least Weyanes back in the day fought for what they believed in, you on the other hand the closest you have come to combat is battling to open a black label bottle. Good luck hawey

I make an exception for Mereja and actually engage with people who are so dimwitted that they are not worth my light instead of ignoring them as I should. That said, Ethioscience, please become your name and use some intellect, you can start by reading. I disavowed my role as head of Ethiopians for Constitutional Monarchy last year, in the article I noted that I have zero interest in reviving the monarchy nor is my aim to be involved in politics. The article is about turning to God, but because you are so struck by the need to insult, you don't even look first before you hurl ad hominem. There is a psychological term for this, it's called bipolar, I learned a long time ago that people who accuse others of mental issues are actually projecting their own problems on others. I feel sorry for you bro, seek help you need it but you won't because you are too stuck on cognitivive dissonance. Go ahead and Google that after you get done Googling how to order another doll. Bon chance homey.

Re: የአገራችን አደራ አለብን: Let Us Heal the Tata in Ethiopia with the Enku of Love
By the way, this is how I know I am on the first leg of a thousand-mile journey. One of these days, when I witness my fellow Ethiopians attacking me for no reason, even when the article I'm presenting is about love and forgiveness, I will not respond back in kind and will instead be compassionate. However, I am far from that now even though I have made progress, after all I have the blood of Atse Tewodros in my veins and we all know he did not suffer fools and when idiots came his way, it was the fools who suffered last. I might not pick up a sword like Kassa Hailu, but my words can either be medicine or poison as people choose it. I will pray that one day I will only be medinince for my people because I know people toddlers like Ethioscience and Digital Weyane are only lashing out because they are hurt. I truly feel for everyone who cannot have a conversation without acting like a child, and you see, that is what the article is about. WIthout realizing it, Digital Weyane and Ethioscience are making my case, such are useful idiots, even when they thrash about, they end up helping the cause. Peace::

You truly are unwell, I am not a prophet, I am no such thing, I am nobody but a husband to my wife Bethlehem and a father to my son Youhannes, this is literally in the article above.
Try reading my bro, thanks.I made the mistake two years ago of taking on the title Lij and becoming the chair Ethiopians for Constitutional Monarchy. I let my ego take over which led me to think that I could accomplish the feats of the emperor who I am named after. It never ends well when one is led by hubris; pride always goeth before the fall. I have started a lot of initiatives in the past, from being an integral part of Ethiopians for Obama, launching Ethiopian-Americans for Change and launching Brown Condor Productions.
Each time, my ego overrode my objective only to sink into depression and my endeavor to crash and burn. A wise man once told me, "ego means easing God out". I have zero interest in reviving the monarchy in Ethiopia nor do I want to be king, I just want to be a husband to my wife Bethlehem and a father to my son Yohannes—the rest I leave to God. The poison of ego that nearly destroyed me is the toxin that is killing Ethiopia; if we are to overcome decades of suffering, it will only be through humility not through empty pride.

Bro do you have ANY idea who you are talking to? Do you know I have been going against TPLF since 1996 when they went after Professor Asrat? Do you know what I did to AESA One (which I mentioned in the article). You can accuse me of a lot of things, but being a TPLF sympathizer is not one of them. THis is a video that I did almost 10 years ago when I went after AESAOne.

The plight and suffering of Amhara of Raya-Alamata, Korem, Waja-Timuga is very heartbreaking. I have never watched like this before. This is s shame on the Tigre people to help and enable TPLF commit such heart breaking and sorrowful crime on the people of Amhara. What is more sorrowful is these people are falling again in the hands of their Tigre butcher - sad really sad. All Ethiopians, especially of Amhara should not forge tthe Raya-Alamata, Korem, Waja-Timuga and let them down. No Amhara is free from TPLF until the Wolo Amhara of Raya-Alamata, Korem, Waja-Timuga is free.

Are helpless people just Amharas or are all Ethiopians who suffer worthy of being protected?

Obbo Teodrose,
It seems that being able to have a civilized, insult-free discourse among Ethiopians is a rare thing indeed.
I may disagree with many of your points but I still don't see the need for resorting to insults to express my disagreements.
Ethiopia's problems can probably be traced to it's formation. Of course, all empires and countries were forged with iron and blood, for the most part, but in Ethiopia we had large segments of the population who were still treated as second class citizens and "Gabbar(serfs)," well into the 1960s and only when the Derg came to power, were those lazy Amhara elitist chased out of the south with the "land to the tiller" campaign. General Tadesse Birru gave a speech in which he linked many of the Oromo peasants poverty to their land being appropriated during Meneliks reign and this of course angered Haile Selassie and his officials. However it was true. There was a deliberate policy of keeping Oromos downtrodden, undereducated, impoverished and subjugated.. out of fear of what they could achieve, i.e. dismantling the entire Ethiopian empire or ruling it, if they desired to do so.
This is why initially the Derg was very popular among us Oromos and not as popular in the north where the farmers, despite their problems, never lost the rights to their ancestral land and what it produced. Meanwhile southern farmers, a significant portion of whom are Oromo, were forced to give up a large portion of their produce to lazy Amhara elitist officials.
As bad as Mengistu and his regime was, more blame goes to Haile Selassie and his failed policies that were conducive to the Dergs formation and rise to power.
This was the man who fed his pet dogs Sega and tibs while thousands upon thousands of our people starved in Wallo, Tigray, etc. Of course... His officials deserve part of the blame too. But a leader should be in touch with his or her constituents. He should be aware of their needs, their problems, their fears, etc.
This was why many rebellions, such as the infamous Bale rebellion (1963-1970), which made Haile Selassie cry to Israel, the UK and others to help suppress, occurred during his reign.
I can go on and on here.
To sum it up:
Haile Selassie continued many of the oppressive policies of menelik, in a modern era, and this led to his failure. He wanted to Amhara-ize everything while destroying everyone's culture and language, and this bred resentment and hatred against him. Remember it was during his reign that the ELF led by Hamid Idris Awate started, it was the beginning of the Oromo nationalist movements, the Tigrayan nationalist movements and etc.
Tplf wanted to simply replace Amhara elitist supremacy with Tigrayan elitist supremacy, with modifications, such as they not trying to impose Tigrinya on everyone, but their ways were just as brutal and oppressive as the past rulers if not worse. However the federalism concept, even with its flaws, was not just a TPLF concept. The Oromo back it, in principle. The Somali. The Afar. The Sidama have their state now. People in general want to rule their own respective lands while still being part of the overall collective, Ethiopia. The old way of doing things, the highly centralized government, cannot work today unless we wish to see Ethiopia descend into more chaos and wars. Amharas I see, tend to put less emphasis on ethnicity... Because the Ethiopian empire was culturally and linguistically created in their image. This is why Ethiopian nationalism is basically Amhara nationalism with a thin mask on. Ethiopian nationalism is speaking Amharic, wearing white shammas, being Orthodox Christian, eating doro wat (which I love,) which is basically being Amhara.
This is why the various ethnic groups tend to identify with their ethnicity first and then Ethiopian, for a significant part of the time. If you try to be objective and views things from the perspectives of non Amhara Ethiopians, then perhaps it'd be easier to comprehend it.

I am with my son right now so I can’t fully respond now but I wanted to thank you for your response. To say it’s the most thought out reply I’ve ever read on this platform would not do you justice because all too frequently the most active people on Mereja are hooligans who only know how to insults and have the cognition of a shimbera. I do see your perspective and I’ve frequently criticized Haile Selassie for being out of touch and alluded to that in my article, he sold his soul to secret societies to regain the throne which id shy he frequently flashed the upside down and demonic triangle AFTER he came back from England. More to come but thank you for restoring my faith in this website, one drink of water is worth a thousand sips of dust.
