There is a reason why I went from being a supporter of Abiy Ahmed to being a critic, even though I was initially fooled by his charm and his embrace of “Ethiopiawinet”, I realized in short order that he was a snake who charmed most Ethiopians the same way Barack Obama duped me and millions of Americans into thinking he was a change agent when he was a con artist the whole time. No different than the TPLF he is pretending to be against given that he was always one of them, Abiy and Debretsion are about to set Ethiopia on fire like chebo on Enkutatash.

While many are caught up in the rush to war and getting swept up in the euphoria that comes with jingoism, they fail to realize that the two people who are pushing a hellish genocide are working in cahoots. Do you really think Abiy Ahmed would have risen to power without the blessings of America and the UK? The same way Republicans and Democrats pretend to be enemies in public only to jump in bed together behind closed doors, Abiy Ahmed and Debretsion Gebremichael are allies who are conspiring to demolish Ethiopia.
