Taliban Is Reinventing Itself

Post by Somaliman » 17 Aug 2021, 07:23

Taliban Is reinventing itself as the "New Taliban Administration."

As I said earlier, this time round, they'll not be playing their classic card based on fear and oppression but politics, demonstrating a degree of flexibility in return for a recognition as a reliable political entity that the West can trust and deal with.

And to start with, a Taliban spokesman has given today an interview with a female newsreader on the private Afghan broadcaster Tolo, which is an indication of a slightly milder attitude towards women. Under the New Taliban Administration, women could even serve in government, stating that “The Islamic Emirate doesn’t want women to be victims. They should be in the government structure according to Shariah law.”

I beg to differ, a leopard cannot change its spots as they say.

The term TALIBAN means students or TALABA in arabic or talabat al fiQh. The new generation of the talibans are well indoctrinated and follow the distorted koranic versions which they themselves distorted and they will be worse than the mullahs who preceded them.

Ironically, so far they secured official recognition from lol... The somali alshabab, the palestinian hamas, the al Qaeeda terror chief who replaced al zawahri (his name escapes me), the alQaeeda of the sahl in mali and niger in west africa, the pakistani jemaa al islamia and which is the strongest party in Pakistan.

Unofficial recognition so far is from China, pakistan, russia and some of the gulf states.

P. S. One thing the afghani should be proud of is they kicked the invaders be it amis and their NATO allies. They made them flee with their tails between their fat legs.

I'm not saying they've got a recognition, particularly from the West. This is too far for now. To me, apart from Hamas, all those groups that you've listed are terrorist groups, and no one should care about who they support or discredit.

What I'm saying is that they're willing to strike a dialogue with the West, and for this to succeed, they're prepared to demonstrate a degree of flexibility. And to prove this, they've already started engaging with the western diplomats in Kabul, letting them to stay in the country.

All these so-called Islamist groups are after power, and Islam, for them, is a means to their end (power) and not an end itself.

The Taliban has changed a lot due to the experience they've gained during the last 20 or 24 years and globalisation.

When they initially came to power, they were just students from the madrasas, knowing nothing, but they've since been involved in politics and have learned how to cooperate with allies and negotiate.

Time will tell.

The Taliban Spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said:

"No one would be allowed to use Afghan territory to launch attacks against other countries."

"I want to reassure the international community, including the United States, that no one will be harmed."

"I would like to assure our neighbours and the countries of our region that we will not allow our land to be used against anyone or any other country in the world. So let the whole international community know that we are committed to that, and you will not be harmed. ”

Somali man,

It is very simple. They have to. The Taliban of a couple of decades could not have survived the demands of running a country today. They have to run the bureaucracy. They really need help. They have to be a legitimate government for the country to survive. They will not sacrifice their interpretation of Islam. Women and girls will be treated according their interpretation of the Islamic laws. Now, it is honeymoon, but you will definitely see Afghanistan going down retroactively to about a millennia. As long as they confine their interpretation of the laws of Islam within Afghanistan, they will be fine. They are warriors. Don't expect a peaceful Afghanistan within itself. The reinventing thing will be temporary.

They're quickly making progress towards women, allowing both women and girls to continue to live as they did under the last Afghan government, including working, having an education, and going about their daily lives as normal.

They've also made wearing Burqa not mandatory.

Let's give these bearded creeps their due!

Somali man,

That is a great beginning. Back in 1991, Eritrea had a great beginning too. They deserve the credit and they need to earn it over a decade at least.

Yeah, at least over a decade. Because running a country is not just allowing stuff that they used to ban. And talibanising the army is a big no no.

Trust me, I'm not the kind who usually supports groups that hide behind religious beliefs.

I found this and it maybe interesting:

The loser is general mckenzie or whatever his name is and who happens to be the commander of the us troops in asia, he unashamedly brags that he warned the taliban leadership (he admitted that he meets with them in doha, Qatar every 2 hours) not to touch amis while they are withdrawing (fleeing lol) or else they will bear the consequence which will ensue.

The winners who happen to be the talibans tell different story:

They say, we told the american general to hurry and get the hell out of our country in few days, besides we told him that we will allow his RESIDUE (the afghani traitors who were serving him) to accompany him.

I believe both of them know that they're exaggerating for the sake of boosting their respective egos.
