n the senseless ethnic war between Amharas and Tigrayans that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has ignited and fomented, TPLF forces are gaining momentum by fully controlling Raya and the entire northern Afar Region this week, according to Mereja.com sources on the ground. Today, TPLF has also launched a new offensive and was able to take over the area west of Adi Arkay in the Wolkait front. Fighting deep into Amhara Region, TPLF also took over Abergele Woreda in Wag Himra Zone, according to refugees who arrived in Sekota town.

The Ethiopian military under Abiy Ahmed’s command is practically out of the war. Not only that, Abiy is refusing to supply Amhara forces with logistics in both the Raya and Wolkait fronts.

On the Wolkait front, Mereja.com sources in the area are reporting that Amhara forces (Special Force, militia, and Fano) are not provided with weapons and food by the Amhara Administration and the Federal Government. Many of the fighters go without eating for up to 5 days. They are outgunned by TPLF forces who have armed themselves with weapons Abiy Ahmed left for them when he precipitously withdrew the Ethiopian military from Tigray over the objection of the military leaders. The Amhara forces are getting demoralized and disillusioned as they find out that the propaganda they are hearing from the government and the reality on the ground are far apart.

Despite claims by the Abiy regime and its supporters, TPLF is on the move — not because it has superior leadership, better fighters, and more weapons, but because TPLF is fighting against an opponent (the Amhara forces) that is being sabotaged and stabbed in the back by Abiy Ahmed and his puppet Agegnehu Teshager.

Abiy Ahmed’s mission is to break up Ethiopia and create a new country called Oromiya. For that to happen, he is intentionally pitting Amharas and Tigrayas against each other.

However, it can be said, from a logical point, that he has two foes at war right now-the amhara's, who, aren't his enemies in general, but the ultra-nationalists among them are/could be threats, and of course, his former mentors and bosses, the tplf are his foes, so if two of your enemies fight; would you get involved? Or sip buna, eat popcorn and watch?!

Of course this makes Oromos happy they hate Ethiopia and have always tried to ruin the country which they have done through Abiy.

Adiarkay is Telemt Woreda not Welkait. The road they are trying to get through is going to Gondar not Sudan. The new generals must get to action quickly and push out TPLF juntas from the borders. Teshager is incapable of leading Amhara he knows very well that is why 14 generals were called back to get to work this year.

This is historical moment for the Oromo to leave a legacy in their CV. The leeches were able to run Ethiopia for the last 30 years unchallenged and the Oromo couldn't even stabilize the country for a 8 months.

Oromo's have only struggled to liberate themselves, and rule themselves & their lands, they did not come to Gondar, or Gojjam, and try to tell you what to do.
This is not ''ruining Ethiopia'' and remember, Abiy represents his government, which includes many Amhara's, he does not represent the Oromo nation or its aspirations. If he does wrong- he represents himself, and his government, it has nothing to do with the average Oromo.

Well, the Oromo do not see the current Abiy govt as a representative of theirs- it's merely an extension of the same OPDO that ruled them for so long, because they had TPLF's military backing. Now, they have went against their former mentors, replaced them as the tyrants ruling, and now they are in a similar mess that the TPLF was in-albeit, with some differences. Part of the blame goes to the former OLF leaders, who weren't efficient leaders, because if they were, with the manpower, bravery of Oromo's; we could've fielded a 200-300,000 man army that nobody in the entire horn of africa would even DREAM of fighting.
This is why Abiy went after his ''opposition'' in Oromia prior to the war in Tigray-he chased away the OLF's legitimate, peaceful leaders, he locked away Jawar, Bekele and etc, and committed countless atrocities in Oromia.
This is what is fueling the slow but steady rise of the WBO/Oromo Liberation Army, which unlike tdf that is operating in a small compact area, is operating across a huge, vast land, which makes it harder; but no doubt, they can triumph if they play their cards right.
