Statement from US Department of State on #Ethiopia

"United States is gravely concerned by reports of ongoing hostilities in western Tigray and evidence of escalating military conflict there. Escalating fighting will undermine critical ongoing efforts to deliver humanitarian relief to famine-affected populations in #Tigray.

We again call on the Tigrayan Defense Forces, the #Amhara regional forces, and Ethiopian National Defense Forces to move towards a negotiated ceasefire in the interests of civilians in the region and to preserve the unity of the Ethiopian state. We strongly condemn any retaliatory attacks that have been or may be directed against civilians in the Tigray region, whether by organized military or security forces or by rogue elements. The United States further calls on all armed actors to comply with their international humanitarian legal obligations, including regarding the protection of civilians. All those who are responsible for violations of international humanitarian law and human rights abuses must be held accountable.

As we have consistently said, any effort to change the internal boundaries of Ethiopia by force is unacceptable. Any issue of such national importance, like borders, would be an issue for the Ethiopian people to decide through consensual dialogue, not by the barrel of a gun."

They are beginning to read the situation correct. No more asking the Amhara to vacate from their lands. That was the most stupid thing the US ever said. Just stick to your guns Amhara and let the white assess know that you will never give up your lands to the stinky Agame settlers!

....As we have consistently said, any effort to change the internal boundaries of Ethiopia by force is unacceptable...

First of all, who'se the US to demand this? Who'se the US to demand anything at all, from the other end of the globe? Besides, when the terror junta altered the internal boundaries to their favor, it's because they had the guns.

Secondly, since PM Abyi has now gotten the mandate from the people to lead the country, the statement below becomes redundant.

...would be an issue for the Ethiopian people to decide...

US, back off from interfering in countries' internal affairs. You've a lot of our own mess, to clean up.

Spokesperson Price: “We strongly condemn any retaliatory attacks that have been or may be directed against civilians in the Tigray region, whether by organized military or security forces or rogue elements.”
He is mentioning western while the war is not even in that part of the country. It is an indication that they are in direct control of what is happening.

There is only 1 actor in in the actual boundary of Tigray and that is terrorist TPLF...so why is the intentionally misinformed admin of Biden saying this group & that group...did they forget that for past several months they have been velifiying/threatening/ pressuring Ethiopia/Eritrea to leave Tigray? Already Ethiopia declared a unilateral ceasefire & left region week ago & Eritrea left weeks before that & any others are in their respective/historical boundaries that people informed on history of the region/nation can attest to. So the Biden admin needs to call out the only responsible party currently in Tigray, which is terrorist TPLF...which is still threatening all neighbors with war. Biden Admin should also note that the Tigray people are also accusing TPLF for current mayhem in Tigray...there are no other parties...that is the only elephant in the room (its TPLF!! not the remarketing/rebranding name of TDF). Also note that many Tigray people are fleeing & even want ethiopian defense forces to return to protect them from TPLF attacks.

The warmongering Biden Admin has no moral authority to speak of internal/regional/administrative boundaries of the independent nation of Ethiopia...especially when previous US admins silently watched for 2-3 decades as terrorist TPLF redrew the boundaries in its favor. Now when the Ethiopian people are finally undoing the works of TPLF...this Biden admin is meddling into affairs of independent nations...its beyond being misinformed but unwarranted policing. It is also untimely since PP & its leader PMAA have now officially been elected by majority of the Ethiopian people, in elections that were more democratic than all previous US observed/certified elections under the leadership of TPLF/EPRDF...I am sure redistricting will be an agenda by the will of the people (especially those that were displaced from their ancestral homes by the TPLF or forced to be under TPLF/Tigray administration for decades).

The Biden Admin is not only being badly misinformed by its foreign policy advisers (some of whom were close friends of terrorist TPLF) & lobbyists...but now they are also brazenly trying to dictate/police the internal/regional/administrative boundaries of independent nations.

Instead of interfering/policing other nations/world, why doesn't Biden Admin focus on its own internal issues and boundaries like the continued use of institutionalized racism/discrimination by ways of gerrymandering/redistricting, redlining, gentrification, policing & justice system...laws that have targeted certain communities more than others...even if some were outlawed on paper, other methods/derivatives replaced them and/or side effects still persist from those policies. People are still waiting for a comprehensive bill/law for African Americans...that's one of the tickets you indirectly rode into town on...when BLM was the main ticket used to topple Trump in the streets/media but yet no comprehensive law(s) on policing/justice system reform from Biden Admin...nor tackling centuries old institutionalized racism.

Guess who said "if you don't vote for me, you are not black"??(it was Biden)...which sounds condescending/paternalistic/bigoted to me. I had heard that Trump once said 'I am the least racist person in the room'...which I didn't take offense to, instead I was wondering/asking who else was in the room? (Hillary?, Biden?) 😁

[Side note/rants: I didn't vote for Obama either since I knew he was going to be the re-imaging of the beast after the whole Bush fiasco...sure enough Obama served to lead wars in Africa/Libya (and reestablishing of neo-colonial bases that were previously booted out of the continent during Bush Admin) & he definitely didnt do enough for African Americans nor what was expected/hoped, even after getting 2nd term...and yet at same time was vilified by media for all shortcomings/failures of the state much like Trump. Biden & his EU allies are just continuing their Africa resources agenda and they are using terrorist TPLF as their "Aunt Jemima" marketing tool ("humanitarianism" face) to hide their ulterior "interventionism" to secure & dictate African resources. Yet they don't realize their is a strong rejection to neo-colonialism abroad & at home (majority want their leaders to fix problems at home instead of adventurism overseas)...even Aunt Jemima has been taken off from shelves of their own markets.]
