The Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD)
Most of the problems that are currently Ethiopia is facing are related to the behind the curtain destabilizing activities of Egypt exploiting the internal rivalries and problems Ethiopia have. However, my commendation goes to PM Abiy for showing strong leadership on the GERD issue and it is my wish that he does demonstrate same leadership skill to resolve the political deadlock with TPLF. We should always remember that it was TPLF led EPRDF that started and competed 68 % of GERD. Abiy by himself is also the product of TPLF/EPRDF leadership and I do not agree with PM Abiy when he tries to portray TPLF as a criminal organization that has done "all wrong" on Ethiopia. For me that is simply a betrayal of a son to his father.TPLF had/has its own weakness and strengths but it is my view that it's strengths added are/were heavier than it's weaknesses. Abiy open your heart for forgiveness and reconcilation and prevent Ethiopia from further blood shed and distraction, if not your dream of bringing prosperity to Ethiopia will not materialize and down the line you will have a regrettable end.
