Now the lines are drawn, both the government and TPLF should focus on helping the people of Tigray. That is #1 priority

Post by temari » 01 Jul 2021, 17:07

I see no serious fighting coming from now on even though talkative Getachew Reda is bluffing as we have seen him do the last 8 months. So his words mean nothing. Now the lines are drawn and will unlikely be changed so easily, both the government and TPLF should focus to help the millions of Tigreans that went through hell and that need urgent food assistance. This is an urgent humanitarian task that all actors need to do everything to avoid a man made catastrophic famine. Tigray farmers should be allowed to farm their land in peace as the rainy season is fast approaching.

The Ethiopian government should do everything for food and aid supplies reach Tigray. Telecommunication and electricity should be restored. The government should make sure that no road to Tigray is blocked and aid is supplied as fast as possible. I don't think we have any time to waste. The humanitarian crises could get out of hand if it is not tackled very fast.

Now they both know their limits i.e. TPLF will never rule Ethiopia again and should stop its delusional dream it had of overthrowing PM Abiy and come back to power again. The federal government should also know that it can't govern Tigray by force and it can't separate tigreans from TPLF. Both should now focus to help avoid a man made catastrophic event from happening and don't waste resources and lives for any adventures anymore.

I would also urge both of them from using hateful language against each other (especially the TPLF) that could result in blockades and sabotage of aid supplies. Now is not the time to score political points but to save millions of lives and avoid a catastrophe which all of us will be ashamed of in the future.

What do you mean? Do you want the people of Tigray to stave to death? Do you have an alternative how aid can be reached to the millions of needy? Come on be serious. The government must do everything to allow medial and food supplies to reach Tigray. There is no other option. This is a must.

You idiot the ethio govt was going after the criminals. It was feeding your ungrateful snotty citizens, providing them with the necessities of life, and make their lives comfortable. What did it get in return? Accused as if it was inside tigray to colonize it or eliminating the funfunat aliet agames.
Now that you believe you chased your own mom out of your home, it is your responsibility to feed your ungrateful agames and protect them from the jaws of your criminal tegarus.
So distance yourselves from woyane, point where some of them are hiding and then beg your ethio govt to return and govern you monkeys, until you are ready to govern your barren region with out woyane in the 📷.

Cigar, Lol you make me laugh  Yes, Tigreans love their TPLF "junta" we all know that but still we must help food assistance to reach the needy. We have no other option. I'm fully behind the decision of PM Abiy to withdraw our troops from Tigray but there is no way the millions of needy Tigreans can survive if Ethiopia is not cooperating in allowing food aid reach Tigray and even in buying food for Tigreans if the west is not doing enough as we have witnessed the last 8 months. Otherwise we will be soon witnessing a catastrophic famine unfolding. The only supply route for the needy in Tigray is through Ethiopia so Ethiopia has the responsibility to do everything for food assistance to reach the needy. There is no other way and it is a must. Our government must do it.

I think this is now Western countries headache. We have been spoiling Woyane, everyone is almost Woyane. We spent 100 billion in 3 months, yet we got poisoned while we were feeding them. There is no moral or rational justification to feed and get Woyane fattened in armament, food supply, and give them opportune moment to strike us back. If Tigres think they are not Woyane, let them prove to Ethiopians demonstrating in Meqelle they don't want TPLF and free themselves. It is stupid to babysit your enemy. በሬ ካራጁ ይውላል መሆን ይበቃል። Where is the purpose of Abiy Ahmed's plan, if he is becoming again a loyal life-line of Woyane province? Let them earn it.

If you feed someone with your hand and then get bitten back on the same hand that is feeding that someone, then it is just natural to try to keep yourself from harm's way, how did you failed to realize this?

Open the roads and make it clear so that TPLF can one more time start smuggling weapon to kill my own sisters and brothers with it?

I don't think you are someone who can fail to realize this simple thing that is in front of your own eyes, it must be something else that is blurring your view.

You can't have it both ways and privilege comes with responsibility.

They will not face famine, they have many body ready to help (pledged to help).

The diaspora arm of the junta, they have collected millions of dollars for Tigray, they should transfer this now to the needy.

The so called Eritrean opposition which was also echoing much of the voices coming from the junta and shedding its tears should now step in and support those they claimed are sympathic with.

The so called donor countries and agencies, which said they are ready to help but lacked access to do so, must step up their help and support those you claimed are "needy".

Ethiopian government should focus on much more priority areas of the country for now.

If Ethiopia doesn't allow a supply route then the IC will be forced to use other routes including flying directly to Mekele. Then you have no idea what will be delivered. So it is much better that you allow food aid access but at the same time put tight control and check everything what is being delivered. Guys don't get emotional and don't let your emotions lead your decision making process.

We have to still carry their burden, even while they are biting us back when we feed them.

Tamari the Ethiopian govt been feeding these ungrateful nasty tegarus since the beginning of their behind spanking.
Why are you making it sound like Ethiopia is not doing so?
Is only Canadian wheat which satisfies their empty belly?
Saying that Ethiopia still won't have any problem if any body will help to feed these snotty people.
But it is going to be in Ethiopia's terms.
No hanky panckie should be in play while the foreigners give hand.
And all the trouble their are facing is due to their own making.
Had they not preemptively commit genocide on the sleeping 1000ds ethio troops (the only verifiable genocide) they wouldn't have been in the predicament they are in.
They need to blame woyane and invite the ethio national army to come back and protect them from their own shiftas.
