Abiy has to sign a submission agreement with TPLF !
Abiy may think he still has the means to play game with TDF/ TPLF but that is not True. If Abiy tries to put economic , communication and transportation sige and embargo on Tigray with the objective of subduing Tigray that will prompt a counter reaction from TPLF such us marching to Addis Ababa in cooperation with OLA and expanding it's buffer zone to Wello and Gondar in cooperation to Oromos, Agews and Kimant. TDF will also work with Afar to block the Ethiopia Djibouti link. When Derg left Tigray about three decades ago, TPLF took them only two years to march to Addis. Similarly, TPLF this time will not have other option rather than putting further pressure on Abiy until he is ready to accept a submission agreement. Under that agreement Abiy could be saved to stay in power but with a string on his neck for a control by TPLF. TPLF focus would be building Tigray while making sure Abiy or any future government of Ethiopia is not going to be a threat for Tigray.

Please stop the BS talk. TDF is nowhere near to confront Abiy let alone to attach a “string on his neck”. We all know how it ended when last time TPLF tried this kind of BS. Learn from the past mistakes. TPLF’s boasting and empty bravado cost the people of Tigray massively. Instead of talking empty bravado, it’s time for TPLF to focus on the suffering of the people of Tigray. Don’t bring another misery on the people. They just went through hell.

Re: Abiy has to sign a submission agreement with TPLF !
Unfortunately or fortunately the world we live-in is dictated and shaped by the victor or victors. We live in a post world war 2 created world order, where the USA is the super power. Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa had lived for three decades under the direct or indirect control of TPLF subsequent to the defeat of Derg and Isaias in 1991 and in 2000 respectively. Once again the reborn TPLF is demonstrating that they are unstoppable . Amharas will continue to be divided and Oromos will need the support of TIgray to sustain their leadership of Ethiopia. Isaias will go soon and Somalia will continue to face internal conflicts. TPLF seat will be in Tigray with the strategic objective of making Axum/Tigray the center of gravity of the Horn if Africa. Abiy loves his PM position and he will not have tearing down the submission agreement he signed with Isaias and replacing it with a new agreement with TPLF.
