The calm before the storm-- the euphoria before rout out
The euphoria that is swallowing weyanes is going to be short-lived. Their habit of misreading the facts in front of them became weyanes hallmark; for the rest us it really has become a painful experience to watch. Using their uncoordinated skirmish in the past two weeks and mixing the photo of last November's “thunderous attack “ on EDF and pestering it as if it happened during a one week, they are flying high. What they fail to understand in this pseudo victory orgy is that the Ethiopian politics have shifted and fundamentally, their derg era of politicking and jingoism is going to result in their complete demise – without leaving them a chance to ever resuscitating themselves. In the past five months, they were spreading that they were the victims of " genocide " etc and they are rolling out the picture of their "war prisoners " and posting it all over. Their western paid agents also are joining in to show of the victorious weyanes marching -- even comparing them as wester equals when it comes to war-making. What the Ethiopian government need to do it let their propaganda saturate the western media before it paunces back with vengence, traping weyanes with their own lies . These jubilant youth that got plastered all over weyanes media as the coming of the second weyaneti is going to get a wild awakening soon ... it is sad they are being usurped by weyenes for a lost cause. They are enjoying, for now, the calm before the storm. Ethiopia has dusted off the weyane era never to look back again those who try to turn it back going to be crushed.

TGAA, I do not think there is “ euphoria” in the TPLF camp. Their political knowhow is frustratingly stupid, but they have not totally lost their minds. The last few days activity was a cry for help. The targeted audience is the West. Just take the interview Getachew gave to the white lady. In fact, it shows TPLF to be in bad shape. You do not see fighters who could take the blow the EDF put on them. There are a few guys carrying guns to protect Getschew and a few others. Getachew knew the pictures the lady took do not show a well-armed fighting force. The picture however sends a message that say please save us. In fact, that is the only message he wants to send.

I think the next few days will show one way or another but folks are putting their reputation on the line when they say PP has lost. It pains me so much Ethiopian and Eritrean life and property is destroyed for nothing.

Petering out weyanes are not Zemen Mesafent material to begin. The weyanee wane be smug teenagers you thought going to change the tide for weyanes don't have the wherewithal to stand one hard push -- so don't put all your eggs in one basket -- as it happen you will be disappointed again. If your prediction had been true , weyanes would have been in 4 killo giving their short orders, they are as we speak are either in hell or in jail. so much for your prediction.

TGAA
I think OLA is also a factor that's weakening the federal army by working to facilitate desertions. You should know OPDO or PP Oromia is heavily infiltrated by OLF top to bottom. This is including his own republican guard. Abiy is done. Watch:

You got a point there. Abiy can not use tribal army to fight another tribal army under Ethiopian nationalism. Weyanes ethnic political agitation and OLF ant-Ethiopia propaganda fits well, so there is no surprise if some give up when the first shot is fired. So Abiy need to take an urgent measure to mitigate this kind proclivities among disloyal Ethiopian armies. Actually, there is a ready made answer for it if he is bold enough to apply it.

This is like super ball. No one is giving credit to the other side.
I am dumbfounded with the professor's assertion. However, let me differ from all of ya. Neither side will be incapacitated by this incoming contention. This will be a long drawn out fight. The government will push the combatants to the wild. The Guerillas will keep coming back to do successive damages. Ethiopia's unity, integrity and its economy will be damaged beyond repair. Give it about five years. The world will be tired by then. If both sides are longing for a quick victory, it won't happen. If outside forces intervene, then the outcome will be unpredictable.

He is already using what I think you are suggesting or even worse measures. The guest in the video states Aby, via his partners, liquidated a group of deserters that attempted to cross into the Sudan. You have to understand that Abiy used everything he has and doesn't have. There's nothing new you can suggest here he uses to reverse the situation. Surprise me!
