Let's be frank on this. It is fair only to give credit where it is due. Did Qeerro fought TPLF? Yes. Was the fall of TPLF the sole outcome of Qeerro? No. can any one have a lion share in bringing down TPLF? No. Here is why:

First, the very reason why TPLF lasted for 27 years were because several Oromos were used as a raping condom and in fact all prisons houses were smelling like that. These kinds of Oromos were the very reason that gave 3 decades of life expectancy for TPLF. There were also condoms from Amhara too. On the other hand, the Amhara rebels were a thorn by the flesh for full 27 years in Gondar and North Wollo. And TPLF knew Amhara are its immortal enemy, its umbilical cord to power would be cut by Amhara and the process would faster if Oromos stand by Amhara. Remember what Getcahew Reda said about Oromara. The stars were aligned for Amhara and Oromo. Otherwise, TPLF would not care if millions Oromos throw stone and carry sticks every ingle day. It lost hope, decisively when the North Gondar, Gojjam and Wollo Amhara give hurting kicks to TPLF. More importantly, the Woldiya youth decisively shattered down TPLF's hope of hanging on power; that gave the last momentum to Qeerro to throw stones at TPLF in Addis while the Woldiay and Gondar youth choked TPLF. So, in sum, the victory was all Ethiopians. No one paid more or less than another group or individual. However, always OLF/PP people try to hayrack and take credit to what was attributable to mass factor. Also, the country still has very critical homework, these Qerroos think it is their sole victory and have tried everything to do the same as TPLF. They have become even worse than TPLF (they are insanely uncultured way far than TPLF). Their damages were unimageable. The country is still suffering from ተረኛ. In Ethiopia where there is no majority ethnic group, they think the have to control everything and everything under the sun is only theirs. We have along way to go, to be honest. But the moment we are finding ourselves does not allow to entertain divisive politics.

Qerroo began the revolution but didn’t keep up to it. Qeroo eventually became nothing more then a Amhara civilian killing gang. Qerro without jawar is dead it is a movement of emotional Oromos similar to BLM (Black Lives Matter Movement) in USA
