Selam, in a sense he is retired. He has no influence in Ethiopian politics whatsoever. The Ethiopian political landscape has been changed. Our political professors has badly missed it. Well, let me be fair to him. He saw the crowd that gathered to listen Ayatollah talking, and he made cost and benefit analysis based on that, and he went all in to the Ayatollah. That grave mistake buried his ambition. A journalist like her might give him a chance to vent his frustration, but the majority of them moved on. Merrara is the man of the past.

I wish he recognizes his senility and give the platform to the younger Oromo politicians. Sadly, he plans to campaign again and beat Abiy.
