Eritrea has never been a slave & will continue to be a self-reliant country. Ethiopia can talk 1,000 times about the Red Sea but you must be sure that it is not the Eritrean Sea. Our sea will be protected by our citizens forever.

The reemergence of ties between Ethiopia-Eritrea-Russia and the westernization of Sudan means that Sudan is no longer a viable option to host Russian navy.The only viable option that remains is Eritrea and given that Isaias Afwereki is now allied with Ethiopia. I believe without a doubt that a new deal is being made currently and Russians/Eritreans are drafting a deal on hosting Russian naval base.


This might be why Ethiopia and Eritrea are talking about the red sea since recent weeks. - Time for Russian navy to make its presence felt in Africa: Happy to see Ethiopia and Eritrea have chosen the eastern alliance.
