It was obvious from the start that Colenel Abiy would throw Eritrea under the bus when put under massive pressure. If he knew he was that weak and could easily falter under external pressure he should have a second thought before he started a counter offence against TPLF. Eritrean leaders should now leave him to sort out his mess. They saved him from total annihilation by the now defunct TPLF and this is how he pays them back.
Another lesson to be learned.

Almaxit, let me break you down first- before I attempt to break down what's been said!

* Your post implies, you're certain of Eritrea's innocence & that's good.

* You're telling us to translate something, written by Eri- patriots like us. No need to translate, cos it's all there.

* If you're implying weyane is more trustworthy than the present govt, I can only laugh & say: STOP being deluded. We make the best, of what there is.

Now to the issue at hand, & this is strictly my personal opinion (I'm not Zmeselo, for nothing. :lol: ):

* To begin with, I want to wait what the mouths of PM Abyi & FM Demeke have to say. We've experienced the likes of Dina Mufti before, & this can be something similar.

* PM Abyi has spoken earlier about the "pressure" being exerted, & he was unequivocal in his rejection of it. If he had any desire to throw Eritrea "under the bus", he would've done so during the visits of Sen Coons & Feltman. But, sure, I can be wrong. The only one to trust 100% is God Almighty, & God Almighty alone.

* Have you ever thought, that the pressure can have been exerted on the Attorney General to come out with this convoluted statement; rather than on Abyi? That possibility is there.

* The Eritrean govt will surely say a thing or 2 about this, & we'll see what that will be.

The most important aspect for me is that if ones conscience is clear & clean pressures and lies just come & go & Eritrea has experienced a lot of pressure & even sanctions based on lies during your junta's rule, but surfed over it all.

The US or the so called "international community" are criminal entities themselves, so we feel zero moral or ethical pressure coming from them. It's like a cocaine addict, accusing you of smoking a cigarette.

Finally though & no matter what, the tplf WILL NEVER return to power & that's the huge blessing in all this.
