Socialism/Revolution, peoples and tribes, Oromuma all failed Ethiopia: Is it time now to re-think Monarchy System
Socialism/Revolution, peoples and tribes, Oromuma all failed Ethiopia: Is it time now to re-think Monarchy System. The amount of loss and humiliations Ethiopia suffered in the last 40 years incalculable - it is beyond imagination. It is even worse than what the rebel Grgan Ahmed done to Ethiopia. None of the revolutions carried out by Derg, TPLF and now by Orumuma brought anything good; their outcome was all undesirable, no moment fresh breath of democracy has ever been experienced by Ethiopians though these upheaval forces. The most ideal element of democracy safety and security of citizens have been extremely violated in Ethiopia for the last 40 years - none of its PR, president, etc. that came though these upheaval had fear of God in their mind and be considerate about their citizens - they all were murders and liars. They divide citizens between they and we, they devour citizens as they wish, the belittled the global image of Ethiopia, Ethiopians scattered like sand of beach all over the world, hunger become everyday life, the scourge of HIV/AIDS uniquely rampant, falsehood reigned, immorality and sodomy pervasive, prison population higher than school population, joblessness and hopelessness pervasive, etc. etc. All these catastrophe are due to these upheavals. These changes brought not democracy but catastrophe. Thus, it is time to consider the age old monarchical system with a blend of Democracy. The British restored their Monarchy 1650 after a decade of civil war, they tried their king for high treason and had him executed. I know this is not going to sit very well with the tribalist because they think this has to do with the ordinary Amhara farmers, but the reality is the Kingdom of Ethiopia is the oldest in history going back to 3 ore more thousand years. Let's not keep Ethiopia as a lab rat for experimenting with lowest rated upheaval systems on God's planet, Earth.

Wendime Abere, first I have a link to visit for you above with my comment as follow,
Ethiopia’s problem... I mean the root problem is the wrong perception that Amhara elites have towards Ethiopia imagining that Ethiopia is Amhara and Amhara is Ethiopia by completely ignoring the existence of other eighty plus ethnics of Ethiopia.
Menilik of Scioa and his nobles mainly Amhara/Christians created today’s Ethiopia with the help of European powers, expanded their territorial invasion from center to east, south and west using brute force.
Yes, it is the norm in the twentieth century to use a force to unite separated political nations so did the Ankoberite Menilik to unite and create Ethiopia. But Menilik went on further imposing Orthodox Christianity and Amharic language, custom, value, tradition and general Amhara national identity over the subjects of his empire.
Now that the imposition of one country one religion one national identity introduced by Menilik is still living today in Ethiopian politics.
It has been almost a century and a half since Ethiopia had been erected in the image of Amhara, a single ethnic identity, over the land of diverse ethno, linguistic and religious groups. The objective and the political struggle that has been ongoing for the last fifty years was meant to bring a change, it was all about replacing Menilik’s Amharawit Ethiopia with a multinational Ethiopia. But, the resistance that comes from Die Hard Amharas, who still hope for a Yehuda Anbesa to rule Ethiopia like yourself, has left the country’s politics in a dire situation with no glimpse of hope.
Nonetheless, it is in our hope and prays sometime soon the struggle will be shifted between Amhara progressive moderates who want to live in equality and peace with the rest of Ethiopians and those who still think Ethiopia is Amhara and Amhara is Ethiopia. We shall join the struggle to help the moderates. Inshallah!
Orommuma
Orommuma, another Worebela Shifta movement that upholds the notion of "Oromos are the majority thus Oromos must take all" is also a menace to the future Ethiopian political stability. Must not go unchecked as well.
