Reuters published on 29 March 2021 an article titled "'You Don't Belong': Land Dispute Drives New Exodus in Ethiopia's Tigray."
Amhara militia are forcing Tigrayans out of western Tigray from land claimed by the Amhara. The Norwegian Refugee Council said 140,000 to 185,000 Tigrayans left West Tigray over a two week period in March.

"Fighters from Amhara entered western Tigray in support of federal forces after the TPLF, Tigray’s then-governing party, attacked military bases there in November. They have remained ever since, and Amhara officials say they have taken back a swathe of territory that was historically theirs.
Tigrayan officials say the area has long been home to both ethnic groups and that the region’s borders are set by the constitution. Now that fighting has subsided and roads have reopened, they say there is a concerted, illegal push to drive out Tigrayans."
Now it is becoming clear despite slowly but surely that:
TPLF attacked the Amhara Region in Nov.2020 to finalize its expansionist agenda.
For the first time TPLF leaders are admitting that WolQait has historically been Amhara land.
The land was annexed by TPLF before the so called constitution was ratified and continued to be expanded until the war broke out. The PM in his recent speech said that "The question of WelQait and Raya is as old as the formation of the current Federal arrangement and, his administration tied to address the problem through a fact finding Identity and Border Commission which TPLF rejected summarily for they knew what TPLF did was illegal"

The Report says: "People still living in Mai Kadra told Reuters that Tigrayan youths, backed by local security forces, stabbed and bludgeoned to death hundreds of Amhara civilians the night before government forces entered the town on Nov. 10. Ethiopia’s state-appointed human rights commission said two weeks later that an estimated 600 civilians had been killed."
All the report proves is that TPLF is a terror group which captured the state power for almost 3 decades and enabled itself to give legal cover for its occupation and annexations of fertile Amhara lands of WolQaiyt and Raya. The group would have exterminated millions of Amhara had it been able to succeed in its suicidal aggression against ENDF, Eritrea and Amhara.
