Easier said than done! Why didn't the tplf perform that when it had all the powers in Ethiopia as well as all the supports from some outsiders? Just tell us one single reason! How is it possible right now when the whole of Ethiopian people over 110 million strong came together in firm unity and chased away the arrogant and self centered tplf, replacing it with a cooperative and unity loving provisional administration who consider themselves no less Ethiopians by any definition?

How can a small group who just lost a small portion of its power due to greed and jealousy and is on the run can declare any remote semblance of independence declaration against the wishes of the Tigriyan people who are patriotic Ethiopians by any definition? Tplf also needs permissions from their immediate neighbors such as the good Amharas, the good Eritreans and the others since every thing is connected and affects everything unless you are some sort of sadomasochist and want to receive incremental spicy very hot on going repeat punishments delivered deep down to their old and tired bones and locked horns. Now if we update and adapt this biblical statement to today's realities it may read: "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a tplf to declare any semblance of independence under the kingdom of God and the government of Ethiopia"

The Tigrayan 15th century orthodox Church reformist Estifanous and tens of thousands of his followers were persucated and murdered by Showan king Zerayakob the killing that we see as of today is a continuation of that and the Orthodox Church of Tigray has to officially separate itself. Estifanous opposed the wrong teachings of the church such as metet and digmet, idolotry, and wrong teachings on salivation etc. High time for the Tigray orthodox church to take action.

I thought it is the politicians who decide when Tigray should go her own way, not the Orthodox Church leaders. I think there are some TPLF politicians who could do that, not all are dead or imprisoned.
