Re: FACT CHECKED ✅ Axum story PHOTO is FALSE ❌
● The photo shows bodies lined up in rows on the ground, and a huge crowd of onlookers in the background
● The image and story were carried by various international news outlets, including France 24
A picture shared on Facebook claiming to show the bodies of victims massacred in Aksum, Tigray region of Ethiopia is FALSE.
The photo shows bodies lined up in rows on the ground, and a huge crowd of onlookers in the background, accompanied by a headline that reads, “Reports Emerging Of ‘Horrible’ Massacre In Ethiopian Holy City”.
Re: FACT CHECKED ✅ Axum story PHOTO is FALSE ❌
Well, the photo seems legit (real) to me; the Axum people usually wear darra'a; Nigerian Traditional Clothing, to funeral.....ask the Human Right Watch, or MonaLiza from her Hospital Bed, they will all confirm it.
Re: FACT CHECKED ✅ Axum story PHOTO is FALSE ❌
Of course it is fake.
Let me educate some ethios and amiches here.
The shared image depicts Nigerians performing SALAT AL JINAZA and which is meant to pray for the deceased with such prayers. In salat aljinaza, you are not required to bend or keel down as it is the case when performing the daily 5 usual salat ritual.
Above image belongs to nigeria and not to axum.
Axum? Lol where is hawzenay when you need him.

Re: FACT CHECKED ✅ Axum story PHOTO is FALSE ❌
Nigerians are good friends of Tigray. The photo shows a Nigerian president and his government officials came to attend the Amnesty International sponsored funeral at Axum, Tigray. When Nigerians have a funeral we send our President Debretsion too! That is called diplomatic relations.
Re: FACT CHECKED ✅ Axum story PHOTO is FALSE ❌
I feel really ashamed of counting myself as Ethiopian with these filthy liars.
How would a non-Weyane Tigrayan feel?
Eyaderu Manes!!!
