I watched the video till the end as recommended by cigar. I have never heard Isayes talking in any language before today. What impressed me most is his proficiency in English. Mostly people who English is their second language could master reading and writing English, but they have difficulty speaking it, especially if they have not lived in English speaking country. His spoken English is impressive.
The last answer to the question is prophetic. He knew more than twenty years ago, Ethiopians and Eritreans will not be enemies by politicians scheme. That is an impressive look of the future that turned out to be true.

Anyone who went back and watched Isaya's interviews 1990's can easily infer that his respect for Ethiopian people. Go and compare the interviews conducted by the midget meles chenawit , seyae abrha and even tamirat layne their contempt for Ethiopian and Ethiopians was dripping beyond belief. And finally, when weyanes prepared to undo Ethiopian in the most heinous way possible,Issayas stood in their way and proved one more time that he wants genuine relationship between the two people. No one asks anything more.
