Better end your nonsense here and keep the part two for yourself, boy! Just a thought!
By-the-way, you're confusing corruption with bribery! They're two different things.
Of course, the rampant bribery in the civil service across Africa is due to the low wages.
Re: QUOTE OF THE DAY: PROF. LUMUMBA.
Indeed the best quote... Like father like son. He inherited the wisdom of his late great father.
A short profile of the children of the great Lumumba. They were kids when their father was murdered by the colonialist belgians. The then Egyptian president jemal abdul nasser brought the 3 Lumumba kids, 2 boys and a girl, (all of them were less than 10 years old then) to egypt and they were raised....grew up in egypt. They mastered the arabic language. All 3 are grateful to egypt. I believe one of them is married to an egyptian.
Above is just food for thought and not politically minded.
Re: QUOTE OF THE DAY: PROF. LUMUMBA.

Akkami? .. Thanks for the correction though a bit more info could've been helpful. Galatoomi.
Now, from a quick google-based research, I gathered that there is NO blood relation between the famed Congolese freedom fighter & martyr named Patrice Lumumba & the fellow named Prof. Lumumba associated with the above apt quote - as our friend Kerenite suggested.
However, Kerenite was correct in his info regarding the adoption of Patrice Lumumba's orphaned children by the late Egyptian president named Gamal Abdil Nasir.
The fellow known as Prof. Lumumba is actually a Kenyan academic who happens to be an admirer of the late Congolese revolutionary & leader: Patrice Lumumba. And, Prof Lumumba's real name is "Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba" & was a director of the Kenyan anti-corruption agency [He is from the Luo tribe found around Lake Victoria judging from his surname of "Otieno"].
He is a bright lawyer who studied - & taught - in many prestigious European & American University law schools.![]()
Here is his bio on wiki ...
"Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba (born 17 July 1962) is a Kenyan who served as the Director of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission from September 2010 to August 2011.[2] Since 2014, Lumumba has been the Director of The Kenya School of Law.[3] An eloquent lawyer, Lumumba earned his LL.B and LL.M degrees at the University of Nairobi. His LL.M thesis is titled National Security And Fundamental Rights. Additionally, Lumumba holds a PhD in Laws of the Sea from the University of Ghent in Belgium. Lumumba is a staunch Pan-Africanist and has delivered several powerful speeches alluding to or about African solutions to African problems.... "

No Somali would believe her if she said she wasn't Somali!
Listening to Borana songs helps to know that Ethiopian music is not all about depressing Habesha music!
Guess what - all Habesha songs sound alike to me! But Borana songs, just like Somali, sound different from one another!

Thanks yaballo for clarifying the matter. Honestly, I only know the kids of the great P. Lumumba thru pic when myself was a kid then. I have no clue how they look like now and I have no clue if there are some who were impressed by lumumba and adopted the name Lumumba.
Thanks again for clarifying the matter.
Cheers!
Re: QUOTE OF THE DAY: PROF. LUMUMBA.
Yaballo,
Thanks bro for the enlightening free of charge lecture.
I doubt many Ethiopians know about those Armerians and their input in Habesha music!
Had I not read the title and muted the sound, I would have thought they were Somalis, particularly women. Not only their looks, but their folkloric dances and chants too.
