It's come to my attention that the TPLF is organizing Eritrea POWs and using them to oust HGDEF rulers. This may seem good to some but it benefits neither Eritrea nor Ethiopia.

There's an inherent problem with such arrangement as we can tell from the experience of OPDO, ANDM and others that were formed by TPLF out of POWs.

Such organizations are susceptible to serving
the interest of TPLF than the people they are said to represent. TPLF has the incentive to keep them weak and to ensure hegemony. This, in turn denies them legitimacy and the people suffer from lack of representation.

This eventually backfires on TPLF as the people will push those groups to face TPLF. Since these leaders are kept weak for decades by design, they fail to manage the transition the people demand.

This leads to war, economic meltdown and the breakdown of social fabric. The international standing of the country suffers a great deal and
Sovereignty is lost.

This is what happened the last three decades. If TPLF applies the same towards Eritrea, the result will not be different. Actually, it could even be worse as it involves two different countries, making it easier for powerful nations to interfere, manipulate and exploit.

The way to go is partnership on equal footing. I am not calling for partnership but if it's done, at least, do it the right way by learning from past failures. It's extremely important Eritrea is represented by genuine Eritreans, not puppets.

P.S. OPDO is currently repeating TPLF error. This advice is good for any organization or country.
