Eden wishes that the fake news about the 780 people who were said to have been massacred in Aksum was true simply because Eden wants the international community to falsely penalize the groups that made Weyane history.
Such is the mentality of TPLF remnants. They would not care if thousands of Tigreans perish (point in case Hawzen) as long as it eventually results in condemnations and other consequences for Eritrea and Ethiopia.
What surprises me more than anything about Eden and his likes is that they never questioned or asked for investigations for the Maikadra genocide and the mass graves found in Humera.

Deqi

Thanks for sharing.

I listened to it and I agree with him in that we need to verify verify and verify. We as people can create an institution to do this. The Catholic Church, other religious institutions and independent Eritreans can come together and do this. The Eritrean people have the right to know what happened because every news about this headlines it as Eritrea, not Isayas or HGDEF. This is painful for all of us Eritreans.

We need to lobby for access to the area and that’s in the hands of the Ethiopian government. If access is granted, the job of verification is doable. In the meantime, we need to show solidarity with the victims and be sensitive to their sufferings.

p.s. Asmara - Look at my past posts and you find I called for Tegaru elites in Ethiopia (and Eritrea) to share power to non Tegaru elites. This as far back as 10 years ago. I also condemn TPLF and HGDEF for jailing and killing to cling to power.

I don't understand Tigrigna, except for few words that sound like those from their counterparts in Amharic.

The guy said "fitsum hasati" (I guess means "totally false"), hopefully as someone who knows the area better and could have first-hand information.

What verification are you talking about then? To verify what should the sovereign government should allow an access to its territory, after liberation the area from the renegade elements which committed treason on the state by paying a very much high price, in human lives and material cost?

How many times do people need to tell you and your likes that the call for "negotiated settlment" is so ridiculous that people of moderate intellect shouldn't make themselves so loughable?

Which victims are you showing solidarity with and which suffering are you talking about (in this case I mean).

No, you are not showing sensitivity with the people of Tigray while all your attempts are about prolonging their sufferings and driving the youth in hopelessness in the coming years, by mobilizing them to wage a war that doesn't exist or simply going to hurt themselves.

This is painful for all of “us” Eritreans. Eden, I am not questioning your being an Eritrean. I have reasons to doubt, but since you insisted on being one, I have to relent.
If you are, I do think you are very close to the movers and shakers of TPLF. By being close, I surmise, you are beneficial — that most probably is financial.
I am not saying that because you support TPLF. That is your right. I am saying you are all in.
You cannot see anything wrong with TPLF.
Just one example : you have never written a single sentence condemning the attack on Ethiopian defense forces in Mekele.
You insist you are a principled person. I disagree. A principled person could not parrot. You do. When TPLF falls in love with Ayatollah, Eden is busy checking her dictionary to describe him in glorifying adjective.
That applies to all TPLF temporary friends.
What about the politicians TPLF hate.
Well, our friend, Eden cannot stand them.
