Ambo-Guder, a 12 KM distance road, to be the second only four lane road between 2 towns in the country

PM Abiy Ahmed made one more emotional and personal speech in Ambo again.

It was disclosed, probably for the first time in public, that he is connected to the town and its environ throught the person he most loved and respected in the whole of his life, his beloved mother. She was said to be also a hard-working woman and travelled from Ambo in the center of the country to Jimma, in the South West of the country, on her foot to finally settle herself there and found her family, to also give birth to her son that would going to be the PM of the country. What a marvelous life-history!

The road to be constructed between Ambo and Guder, something like 12 KM or so apart, is said to be the second only in the whole of the country, after only the one between Addis Ababa and Adama, to be a four lane street, two in each direction.

He said it would have been his most cherished satisfication, if his mother would have been alive and were able to see the road on the route she took on her travel. There was no road during those days almost in the area as a whole.

The negligence that was characterist of the history of the town in the whole of the 27 years of TPLF's rule in the country has changed fundamentally now.

He also said something like "we are pregnant of an elephant not of a dog", if those whom he is talking about may even realize what he is talking about.

Above all he and Deputy PM Demeke Mekonnon paid tribute beautifully to the most cherished sons of Ambo and its environ, Quse Dinagde (Habte Giyorgis Dinagde) and Laureate Tsegaye Gebremedehin in their respective speeches.
