Tigray Defense forces should negotiate with the central government in Ethiopia. The central government should allow all Tigrayans to return to their homes. If TPLF refuses to stop the war, then people of Tigray should be armed and keep their villages safe as during the time of Dergue or the Military regime.
Eritrean forces and refugees should be repatriated to Eritrea. Ethiopia should focus on improving the livelihood the people of Ethiopia as a whole. All ethnic political groups should be disbanded and reintegrated into country wide political organisations.
We should all recognise that we are politically primitive and not able to focus on our strategic interests. We need to foil Issayas Afeworki's plan to divide and rule Ethiopia. I can think a coup d'etat from the military or other civilian forces to keep Ethiopia united by reconciling with all the forces.
TDF may continue the war and succeed. But the outcome could be too bad for Ethiopia as a whole. we need to offer an alternative before such things happen.
