How do they become a Director General?

Post by DefendTheTruth » 06 Feb 2021, 15:27

This woman is so consumed just about herself and I tried to patiently listen to her views and she didn't stop to blabar about herself for almost 1/3 of the video length.

"I am exceptional, I am the only person" sort of and still be called a Director General of something so important for the country growth.

I stopped listening to the interview after 16 min, in my view she is off-topic.

Simply because we have now media platform doesn't mean that everything should be on the media, and no wonder such peole are in the key positions of the engines of the country's growth and the country is lagging behind in many fields.

Is it about fulfilling quota of meeting minorities representation, probably?

She is smart and self-confident. There is nothing wrong with talking about yourself and your qualifications. That is acceptable in the developed world.

Abe Abraham,

it is okay to talk about oneself, if you are a private citizen or the venue is about "selling yourself". They presented her as DG of a key field for Ethiopia's growth strategy, water resources management.

After I saw her title I was interested to know more about the field, the challanges and opportunities, the strategic goals, its contributions and over all activities and did you get information about these points from the lady's interview?

She made it like it was about a job-qualifications interview of a fresh graduate and I am not sure if the program is about such issues.

Only because you are a good student doesn't necessarily also mean that you are also a good manager, in my view.

She spent the whole interview time talking about how good a student she is but forget to tell us how good a manager she is also, which is her actual role in her current occupation .

A self-confident should't be also shy to tell how good he/she is in his/her actual current role, don't you think?
