OLF as an organization is currently not in a position to hold general assembly let alone to register candidates for the upcoming election. Election board tried to bring the two factions together so that they can hold general assembly and resolve their issues but the Dawd Ibssa group refused to cooperate with the executives of OLF. Hence election board said, its ability to help the organization has now come to an end and it can't do anything anymore and urges its leaders and members to hold a general assembly and resolve their internal problem.

If there was no corruption in a society
If there was no incarceration of innocents by labeling as someone else
If there was no labeling people to fulfill self interest
If there was no evil thoughts in an individual/society mind
If there was no depreciation/deterioration of society's value, culture, and integrity
If there was understanding the right of humanity in general and that of individual in particular
If there was supportive and helping thoughts with in societies, individuals, administrators, government officials


WHY ALL THESE DISASTERS RAIN ON ALL OF US. When the acountry is in such situation, no matter where you live, whether you are the gov beneficiary or lay person living your own life, elites, live abroad or not,Everybody is affected.

I don't know if you have followed the split between the leadership of OLF but it is between the executive and the chairman. He fired them and they fired him and election board said both can't fire the other according to the terms and regulations of the party and ordered them to go to the general assembly and solve the matter. Both groups are part of the old guard OLF that were also in Eritrea etc. These are not new appointed people. For some reason Dawd Ibsa doesn't want to go to the general assembly. In the mean time the organization has become defunct.
