I am not sure about how much the saying is accurate but I heard somewhere from those who told to know better about Tigrean culture, who told me that this is what a Tigrean Father will tell his in-law after marrying his daughter off to him.

I remembered about it after reading the following attributed to someone who was used to be an ally of the TPLF in the recent war in Tigray, in response to 3 Tigrean parties claiming in a statement that over 52 000 people have been killed by the war, but didn't avail themselves to substantiate their own claim to the press, which seeked a comment from the authors of the statement.


“The figure given for those in need of aid is higher than Tigray’s estimated population, so it’s likely that the number of civilian fatalities is also significantly inflated by the three parties,” said William Davison, a senior analyst at the International Crisis Group.


Why are people seeking aid for more people than the number of the total population, anyhow?

There must be something I am missing here, it seems.

I was not much a fan of Seyoum Teshome as well before, but now he has a glaring fact in his hands that no one can blare out. I try to stand with facts for the sake of my own sense of integrity, not to support someone or denounce someone else.

Tedy (Reyot) and Achame are disciplined folks and well read; I will be honest, they impress me.

I don't trust ethnic parities in general anymore however, I don't know that much about ABN except they don't seem to be extremists as OLF/TPLF; what the election board announced today about them and Badleras made a lot of sense to me.

I feel your pain though; I will see what you posted and check out what "Private I", Seyoum, has in store today. He is a character!
