Breaking: TPLF admits losing 52k fighters in Tigray conflict

According to affiliates of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), at least 52,000 Tigrayan fighters have reportedly died since war broke out in the northern Tigray state of Ethiopia. The breaking news was announced online by members of the fringe Natsnet group made up of former TPLF members, and gained popularity after the TPLF lost power in Addis Ababa in 2018.

Among the 52 thousand Tigrayan soldiers who died, the majority are believed to be from the regional militia and the rest from its “special elite forces.

The Natsnet group, also known as “Tigray Independence Party” (TIP), have previously advocated for Greater Tigray statehood and participated in the unauthorized recent election where TPLF won over 98%.

While advocating for secession, many members of the Natsnet-TIP group remained inside TPLF as regional officials concurrently. Analysts believe this extremist group played a big role in pressuring TPLF moderates to pursue confrontational stance against the Ethiopian federal government, which led to the attack on ENDF camps in November.

Out of the 52,000 Tigrayan combatants, most of them are believed to have died during early battles against Amhara and Afar special forces.

Several TPLF commanders and top officials have also died, including Seyoum Mesfin who famously declared “we will turn Ethiopia into Syria,” in October before the conflict began.

Currently, the former Tigray President Debretsion Gebremichael has reportedly called for more war in Tigray. Having already lost the war, experts believe the TPLF remnants want to sabotage the new Tigray government thru assassinations and an insurgency to block the movement of goods and humanitarian aid.

Hamasenay mitri zifeshelet, go and read Washington post, it says 52,000 Tigrean civilians were killed by wedimedhi & meshrefet. As far as TDF goes the number ofthose who got martyred is 1 TDF martyr per 1000 dead enemy soldiers.
if 100,000 wedimedhin died, only a 100 TDF died.
TDF had only 23 battalions with 1000 soldiers Each while wedimedhin had 42 divisions ( each division 5000-7000) and 12 PP division (each division had over 10,000-12,000). Remember 1 TDF battalion fights against 2 wedimedhin divisions or one Meshrefet division.

Wait for the seismic shock that will reverberate in the Region when the mothers learn that their sons and daughters aren't coming home. The price of fascism is measured by its own disproportionate losses. All these sacrifices just so the Nega Dynasty could hold on to power for eternity. How sad!

PM Abiy calls on Ethiopians, to moblize & launch an offensive on TPLF disinformation in the International arena. Ethiopia has averted existential threat & defeated TPLF. Your task now: organize & coordinate to defeat them in cyberspace, IntlMedia, parliaments & Intlorgs.

Heartbreaking but also truth.....I don't think any normal person would like to see any mothers learning their sons and daughters are not coming home...The reality is that TPLF Junta have put thousands if not.. tens of thousands Tigrayan mothers in situations to lose their loved children for nothing.. When I say nothing, I mean absolutely for nothing.. Sadly, innocent mothers will start to mourn for the rest of their lives.. The coward TPLF Junta is the sole responsible for all the losses in tiny-Tigray and Amhara Killil...

Exactamente !!!

The NGOs are merchants of Death and Suffering. They make a high paying career out of the misery and suffering of people. They are basically bloodsucking bástards.

They do not want to see people in Africa to be self sufficient, and dignified. And TPLF was one of the errand enablers of these bloodsucking bástards.

Death to NGOs !!

Wow. That is really heart braking. But, their DENKORO cadres still bragging and calling for more bloodshed. I feel sorry for people of Tigray. The Tigryans elite and their Cadres should take responsibility for exaggerating and hyping their own people.

In the words of Graham Hankock, the aid agencies are rightly known as “lords of poverty”. They profit out of the misery of people.

They are manipulating the world by creating loud voice about the humanitarian crisis in Tigray. The Ethiopian Government will not give-in for their manipulation and drop the ball!

gagi, you quoted the right phrase.
Yes, the Abiy administration should not be intimidated by the “lords of poverty.”
About the politics of our country, we Ethiopians should be the first to define it, not ... — I love that phrase, very descriptive.

A new article was released today by Africa Intelligence, in which they delve into the relationship between Somali elites and TPLF. The remnants and beneficiaries of TPLF are still in Somalia, and some are even vying for the presidency. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, is their #1 man in Somalia.

During his time as President, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud (HSM) was not a true leader but rather a man serving the interests of the TPLF and the notorious “General Gabre”. In the first picture, HSM is attending the 40th anniversary of the TPLF & in the second, Gabre is scolding him.

Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden, former Speaker of Parliament and President of Southwest State was another key TPLF point man in Somalia. Sharif would deal directly with current head of WHO Dr Tedros in a quest to divide Somalia up for TPLF to rule it.

Ahmed Madoobe, is the last standing major TPLF player in Somalia. Madoobe, backed by TPLF, came into power after a fierce battle with Barre Hiiraale which resulted in an agreement being brokered by the TPLF which then installed Madoobe as the President of Jubaland.

Sheikh Sharif, former President of Somalia is also compromised by TPLF. Despite waging war on Ethiopia in 2006, when TPLF forces invaded, Sharif boarded a Kenyan helicopter then made peace with TPLF. He then returned as president and did whatever Gabre told him to.

Kamal Gutale, former Chief of Staff and founder of the Wadajir Party was also working for the TPLF. Here he is pictured with Gabre at a meeting discussing Somali issues. Wadajir’s current candidate is @AAbdishakur and it is believed that he is compromised through Gutale.

TPLF’s control was not limited to Mogadishu, but Puntland as well. In this video, former President of Puntland, Abdirahman Faroole, pays his respects to Meles Zenawi & says his death is a loss to Somalia. Faroole praises Meles for the federalist system & says Somalia copied it.

Somaliland, just like Mogadishu, was also ruled by TPLF. In this picture, current President of Somaliland, Muse Bixi and other officials, are all lined up like schoolboys to meet the PM of Ethiopia.

In this picture, former President of Somaliland, Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo is seen with a portrait of Meles Zenawi and an Ethiopian flag draped on the table. TPLF had a consulate based in Hargeisa, where they would run Somaliland’s administration until it was officially shut down.

The lords of poverty indeed... will test dr Abiy and threaten him with all kind of crimes and sanctions... not for the benefit of the Tigray people but for their own pockets... they will use tgree people to beg or raise millions of money and the idiotic digital woyane will be used to make noise
Pray for the PM to be strong and not cave in to their demands

The NGOs aren't simply disinterested entities......their track record is telling.

Here is an excerpt from a decade-old article: an illustration how these organizations operate. Sound familiar?

"It should be recalled that immediately after this massive influx of Hutu refugees, makeshift camps were erected near the border with Rwanda. Humanitarian NGOs began, rightly so, a vocal media campaign predicting a looming disaster. NGOs made appeals for funds urgently to provide food stamps, blankets, shelters and water purification systems.

As expected, the cholera epidemic occurred without delay. The disease struck at an alarming rate....... For more than four weeks, images of cholera “coincidentally” overshadowed the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, its causes and consequences, to focus on how to help the unfortunate Hutu refugees. An expert of modern communication decoded ‘Superimposed images’ technique: Forget the Genocide and Tutsi survivors for the moment, there were more pressing urgencies! And the “Hutu” got turned into “victim” by the television magic and intensive media coverage!

The Genocidaires were almost forgotten and absolved, sheltered inside the very same camps mixing armed soldiers and babies, kids and killers. Fundraising by various humanitarian agencies became easy with the profusion of emotions aroused in Europe, helped with various associations close to the Catholic Church. NGOs quickly went into action with this artificially created humanitarian crisis of enormous proportions."
