My Fear Is Justified Now!
I’m gonna say this again and again. It is tense and highly charged up scene out there. Unless the President, top leaders of the Republican Party and community leaders come out on the television and other media outlets and tell this wrongly angered crown to stand down, it could escalate between now and the Inauguration Day. The loss in the Georgia senate race is gonna put more fuel to the raw emotion by the misguided protestors. There you have it, folks. My fear is justified. People are gathering up at the capital with such negative energy to disrupt the certification process of the election results. It has been peaceful so far but we should know that it is going to take just one or two deranged individuals to turn it into undesired directions. Let’s hope level heads will prevail but it is more concerning to me now. The loss in the senate race in Georgia seems to fuel the raw emotion of the misguided crowd. It is good to see the president tweet urging the protestors to remain peaceful. I have been thru more than ten election seasons but never seen such a highly charged up environment like this one. So my dear countrymen/women! Please keep yourself abreast with the latest development especially those of who live in and around the capital and the state of Georgia/Atlanta. This tense moment could even be escalating between now and the Inauguration Day. Then it is going to take just one analyst-wannabe loose lip to be right on the mainstream media and tell the audience the new immigrants have played a tipping role for the victory to go to the other side. They were the Irish, Italians, Jews and others before to be blamed and now it could be the ‘new’ immigrants. So keep your antennas up and eyes wide open. If you see or hear something suspicious call the good folks of law enforcement near you. May The Almighty Our Creator Blanket You/Protect You!!!!!

thank you for your thoughtful advice, it is indeed worrisome (time). I never imagined that it will come to this level.
Every big things that happened to the world so far had just a very minute trigger.
The raw emotion you talked about can reign the world, unless put under check.
I hear many people commenting that this is unprecedented, let Almighty keep all of you safe.
While I am writing this, Mr. Trump just came out and started to call up on the protestors to "go home in peace", which could make a difference between what America is and our own old continent is. This call has been made obviously, after President-Elect Joe Biden urged the President to do so in public.
This is a wise move on the part of the President, I think.

DefendTheTruth,
Yes it is commendable for both the president and president elect to come out and say something to calm the nerves of the angry protestors. DC is now declared a curfew zone from 06PM to 06AM. The entire national is activated and heading to the capital. It is really a very sad day. It is reported that shots were fired leaving a clear bullet hole on the inside of the Capital. Windows were smashed. I was worried since the spring of 2020 when the election campaign was heating up. I have never seen such a hate filled election like this one. Now, the cardinal question is: What will this beacon of democracy and hope learn from this election? I am sure the legislators and men/women of letters have takes due notes about it. It also includes the law enforcement folks. Someone must have dropped the ball on this one by not preparing for this ugly moment. Now they finally have started acting. It makes very emotional when I hear the most sacred place of democracy being desecrated by vagabond elements. Windows smashed and bullet holes on the walls of a Blessed place that heralded the dawn of modern democracy? It breaks my heart. But I don't give up on this bastion of democracy. It always finds ways to hold itself up and come out even more in shining armor.
Stay alert and avoid crowded places. Unless you have to work, stay at home on the Inauguration Day and watch it all on TV. This Shall Pass! Insha'Allah!!!!

Re: My Fear Is Justified Now!
I just saw news on TV that w woman was shot to death inside the capital during the mob invasion. I can't emphasize enough to my dear countrymen/women to stay away from harm’s way and hunker down at home until the situation is under control. Don't try to go outside to investigate what is going on. This includes those in the Atlanta area. Be apprehensive of your surroundings and report any suspicious circumstances to the law enforcement folks.
Re: My Fear Is Justified Now!
The US Constitution is the best document ever written by man & it has been under attack since the day it was written & will continue to be under attack, until its relevance is completely reduced to naught.
Sad, but true!

What you wrote was said on many trying moments before. At the outbreak of the Civil War in 1861 former foes Red Jackets were dancing in the streets thinking this country would be no more. On December 7, 1941 commies and bigots thought that was it. At the height of the war in Vietnam and civil rights protesters doomsday soothsayers were flopping their jaws that it was time for this ray of hope to implode. But it all ended up for the soothsayers eating their crow. It will [deleted] its wounds, wipe its sweats and blood to come out even more vigorous and wiser. Mark my word for it!!!

The US constitution is the reason America became the most powerful democratic country. It served for the last 300 years. We have not seen amendments for a long time. Updating it with time is necessary. But, amendments need to be by the people for the people. The Republican party needs to respect election outcomes to maintain the Republic. The Republican party had drifted over the years by individuals short sight. The only thing I like party has been its pro small business stance. Otherwise, the democratic party is fair, and it had served the people right.

One of my Palestinian friends was telling me the same thing just four days ago. I wanted to ask you guys whether I should take such concerns seriously and look what is happening now. Take care !!ittuabafarda wrote: ↑06 Jan 2021, 17:12I’m gonna say this again and again. It is tense and highly charged up scene out there. The more US politicians become internationalist instead of nationalist though, the more calls will come for its abrogation. At least, that's my suspicion.

Re: My Fear Is Justified Now!
Those who drafted and wrote the US Constitution never intended it to be for every country worldwide. Those wrote it and made it to be the law of the land here for the USA alone. If it has/had inspired other countries near of afar that is not its fault. It has never been its intention to be a universal document even though it would have been the right thing if that was the case. So there is nothing for you to worry about. It seems and sounds that you are worried about its existence.Zmeselo wrote: ↑06 Jan 2021, 20:19I hope, you're right!!!ittuabafarda wrote: ↑06 Jan 2021, 19:57What you wrote was said on many trying moments before. Re: My Fear Is Justified Now!
That was precisely, my point. It was written, as the law of the land. My question was what will happen to it, when nationalistic politicians are getting fewer by the day? They're all turning globalist, & the globalists hate the US Constitution.ittuabafarda wrote: ↑06 Jan 2021, 21:33Those who drafted and wrote the US Constitution never intended it to be for every country worldwide. Zmeselo,
You just picked my interest in your discussion with Ittuabafarda .
Why would you classified as globalist hate the US Constitution ?

Re: My Fear Is Justified Now!
The globalists hate Nation States, because the idea of Nation States goes against their will/plan of forming a global government. The US Constitution is a huge hinderance/stumbling block, in achieving that objective.Aurorae Borealis wrote: ↑06 Jan 2021, 23:17Zmeselo,

Then in your opinion/conviction who is right or good for the public? Globalists or Nation State advocates? Also please try to explain a 'global government'. Let's keep this constructive and civil pow wow going since we have now a new audience among us.Zmeselo wrote: ↑06 Jan 2021, 23:32Because the globalists hate Nation States, because the idea of Nation States goes against their will/plan of forming a global government. I'm for, Nation States.
Globalization eventhough on the surface is explained as a process of interaction and integration among people, companies and governments worldwide, is a vision of the world governed by a wealthy Elite. Those left of us (they want to reduce the world population to a mere 500M- check "the Georgia guidestones"), will be their obedient serfs to fulfill their every desire. Technology, it's envisioned, will help them live forever.
A dystopian world, in other words. There's of course much more to it, but this is my layman's short explanation.

Ape Abraham
I didn't mean Zmeselo classified himself as Globalist.
If that is, what is going through your adyabo head
Zmeselo,
I do not have the time to watch the videos, but why is multiple culture and way of life a hindrance to the nation state system ? The U.S. constitution provides the same protection whether one is naturalized citizen or a citizen at birth. To me the distinction is an abstraction of void manifest. Then again, I admit, I did not take the time to submerge myself for I felt like it is a stupid distinction without substance.
