What Makes martin Plaut different from other TPLF cadres and propagandists except his skin color? Martin Plaut has officially declared that he is member of TPLF Junata. so he is another Alula Solomon who is trying recover his dead TPLF. The good thing is that TPLF has been buried deep in the ground and will never come back.

Millete Birhanemeskel is a former award winning Tigrean-American journalist, and if my memory serves me well, later on she became professor of journalism. She is very brilliant lady. As far as I know, currently she is not a journalist, I think she works for major investment company which she partly owns.
Martin Plasut used to be wedimedhin fan, he is now weyane fan, just like everyone who used to be wedimedhin lackey finally becomes TPLF friend. This increased wedimedhin envy on TPLF.

Plaut said the Oromo were "slaves" in the 19 century incorporated by force by the then Tigri/Amhara Empire.

Plaut knows that both Menelik/HIM are part Oromo and their armies predominantly a majority group Oromo, were led by Oromo generals unlike EPRDF army who were predominantly led by Tigrayan generals who come from a minority group in Ethiopia.

Accordingly, for Plaut, Oromo Abiy's army today, is like the 19 century Ethiopian Empire in reverse who are incorporating Tigrai the same way Oromo was taken then. How stupid can one be to give such analysis?

I use to pay attention to Martin Plaut's Eritrea's view & always suspected and did not trust Eritreans who despised him all along. Listening to this interview & other things he writes these days, I've to admit PFDJ supporters proved to be right in their stands towards him. It is obvious his views are by enlarge anti Ethiopian/Eritrean people.

He had one interview with Meles, and he “ swore allegiance to TPLF.” But there have been millions of Ethiopians who heard Meles talking million times, but let alone taking an allegiance to TPLF they fought his administration to the end. Does Martin suggest those Ethiopians are ignorant ?
When people trade their integrity to access to power and financial incentives, their going lower and lower seems to have no end.

Martin Plaut must have been devastated by his loss of TPLF. He is [deleted] nonsense out of excessive anger and frustration. He wish this day had never come. But it has come now, TPLF is no where to find. His hate for Ethiopia and Eritrea is too much because they burnt his big monthly Check from TPLF into ashes.

Martin Plaut was born in Cape Town, South Africa in May 1950. His parents were Erwin Plaut and Faith Plaut. His father was a furniture designer who had a shop on the Cape Town Foreshore [Plaut Interior Design] and his mother was an artist working with paints and in fabrics. His mother was born in Cape Town but grew up in Britain and his father was born in Dusseldorf, Germany, but left in the 1930s due to the persecution of Jews.

Plaut schooled at Saint Georges and from Standard 8 (Grade Ten) onwards, he attended Cape Town High. From 1969 until 1973 he worked at his father’s shop in Cape Town.

He received his first degree in Social Science from the University of Cape Town, and an Honours degree in Industrial Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand, before going on to complete an MA degree at the University of Warwick, England, between 1976 and 1977. While a student, he was active in the Wages Commissions movement, an affiliate of the National Union of Students (NUSAS) which led to the resurgence of trade unions and ultimately Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU).

In 1978, Plaut worked for a year as an Industrial Relations adviser to Mobil Oil before joining the British Labour Party as an adviser on Africa and the Middle East. He liaised with the Anti-Apartheid Movement as part of his role as Secretary of the Labour Party’s Africa Committee and was the Secretary of the Africa Committee of the Labour Party, preparing policy documents and doing research for the party. As a result, Plaut represented the Party on many bodies, including the UK Anti-Apartheid Movement.

For two years, he was an Associate Fellow of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), leading their Africa research programme and continues to be an active member. In 1984, Plaut joined the BBC, working primarily on Africa. He has reported from most of East Africa, as well as some parts of West Africa, and specialises in the Horn of Africa and Southern Africa. He is currently Africa editor, BBC World Service News.

This system will be totally feudalized by the central banks of the world, acting in accordance with secret agreements concluded at meetings often conducted in person.

(Translated from Russian)

In his book “The Open Conspiracy: Blue Print for a World Revolution“ published in 1928, Herbert Wells highlighted a dangerous development phase the world entered in the twentieth century that could lead up to disaster or even annihilation of the race of man. According to Wells elimination of states and creation of One World Government led by a small group of individuals representing the intellectual elite and major capital was the only remedy available to avert the impending catastrophe.

Over the centuries, different secret societies inclusive of Templars, Freemasons, and Illuminati had nurtured the idea of world domination. However, neither the authorities nor the general public would be aware of their plans and activities until the disclosure of these plans became imperative in view of the unrestrained development of science and technologies coming on top of the continued arms race in the twentieth century.

These issues were publicly discussed during the Paris Peace Conference in 1919. A decision was made to create the League of Nations which the British and Americans hoped to use so that to commence building a New World Order. However, the ruling circles in the United States and Great Britain had different and conflicting opinions and visions. In London, they believed that the British Empire with the never-setting sun provided the ideal basis for a unified world. In Washington, however, they considered that in the aftermath of the First World War America was the number 1 Power to spearhead the drive towards a New World Order.

There were politicians both in the United States and Great Britain, however, who qualified those imperial ambitions in terms of “a narrow-minded nationalism” since they thought they themselves were the One Elite of the highest Anglo-Saxon race. They included Edward Mandell House (1858–1938), a diplomat and adviser to President Woodrow Wilson (Colonel House), and Lord Alfred Milner (1854–1925), a consistent supporter of Anglo-Saxon Mondialism and also one of the key figures in David Lloyd George’s office.

Colonel House got dispirited during a conference in Paris when he learned that Washington had raised objections to U.S. engagement in the League of Nations, the provision of which was laid down in the Treaty of Versailles. He was pinning his hopes on the League of Nations to become instrumental in the creation of One State. After that, in Paris, Colonel House met with his British counterparts. They agreed that two organizations would be created in the United States and Great Britain so that to closely teamwork and implement the Anglo-Saxon project designed to build a New World Order.

One hundred years ago, the first one of these two organizations, was established in summer 1920. It was the British Institute of International Affairs (BIIA); it was renamed as The Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA) in 1926, and it continues to operate to this day under this name. The Institute is also known as Chatham House, which is the building wherein it is located (near the Palace of Westminster in central London). In 1961, RIIA changed its location, but its name of Chatham House survived.

The groundwork for the establishment of RIIA was performed by Lionel Curtis, Secretary of Lord Milner. In terms of the status, the institute is organized and exists as a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization funded by voluntary contributions. The first contribution in the amount of 2,000 pounds sterling was offered by Thomas Lamont from the JP Morgan Bank. Since 1932, John D. Rockefeller would annually contribute 8,000 pounds sterling to RIIA’s account. Later, RIIA began to regularly receive large regular contributions from American charities (Rockefeller, Carnegie, etc.).

The first head of the Institute was Robert Cecil (1864–1958) — a British lawyer, parliamentary, public figure and statesman, an active worker and ideologist of the League of Nations, Nobel Peace Prize winner, in 1937 (for his services to the League of Nations). Lionel Curtis was appointed Honorary Secretary of RIIA. The Institute’s leadership also included former Foreign Minister Edward Grey, former Prime Minister Arthur Balfour, Lord Lothian, famous English economist John Maynard Keynes, Alfred Zimmerman (Professor of Oxford, author of the book “The League of Nations and the Rule of Law”). Zimmermann had a talented student Arnold Toynbee (1889–1975). On Zimmerman’s recommendation, Toynbee became the first staffer on Institute’s payroll. Toynbee was later appointed Director of the Institute. For three decades (1925–1955), Toynbee played a leading role in Chatham House. He supervised scientific research; he was also a senior officer of the British MI6 (Intelligence Service). MI6 would commission RIIA to perform a wide variety of surveys and studies.

RIIA did have the preconditions to develop; they evolved to become a superstructure of the Round Table, a fairly secretive organization. According to historians, Cecil John Rhodes (1853–1902), a famous figure of British imperialism whose life was linked to British colonial expansion in South Africa, was instrumental in the creation of a secret society in 1891 in South Africa. Cecil Rhodes was involved in gold and diamond mining operations in South Africa and was associated with the Rothschilds. In 1910, the Rothschilds had the Round Table established in London; Lord Alfred Milner became the principal public figure speaking on behalf of the Round Table. During the Lord’s lifetime, the Round Table would often be referred to as the “Milner Group”. Many historians believe that in the early twentieth century the memberships of the Round Table and “the Committee of 300 (John Coleman described the world’s elite in his book entitled, “The Committee of Three Hundred”) were nearly identical.

Nicholas Hagger in his book entitled, “The Syndicate: The Story of the Coming World Government”, described the methods used to have an influence on world politics and economy; the Round Table activities exhibited two contours — the external (open activity) and internal (covert activity). The notable American historian Carroll Quigley (1910–1977) in his book “Tragedy and Hope” highlighted the task of the Round Table, which was
not less than the creation of a world system of financial control, concentrated in private hands and capable of affecting the political system of each country and the world economy as a whole. This system will be totally feudalized by the central banks of the world, acting in accordance with secret agreements concluded at meetings often conducted in person.
Acting as the official historian of the society, Quigley was very sympathetic to the Round Table.
The objective of the Round Table revolved around the creation of a World Government controlled by international bankers. There are many researchers of the Round Table activities who believe that the program of this organization is in general terms harmonized with the agenda of the Illuminati Order, which was active in the XVIII century. Successors of the Illuminati, members of the Round Table, viewed England in terms of Atlantic rather than European force and hoped for the creation of a federation of English-speaking countries. Milner formed “Round Table” groups in South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and the USA that were all governed via England. The most famous politicians of the British government were onboarded and they were all committed to the idea of a World Government.
“The Round Table” always wished to transform the British Empire into a federal system, and which would eventually include both the United Kingdom and the United States. Just as Carroll Quigley wrote that the Round Table did not rule out that Washington could become the capital city of such a would-be world community.

RIIA was an extension of the Round Table. Following the demise of Lord Milner in 1925, the “Round Table” would be seldom mentioned versus frequent references to the Royal Institute. In his Copenhagen speech, 1931, Toynbee said that they were working together with all those who could make all national states of the world forget about the mysterious force named sovereignty and that they continued denying what they were actually doing.

Nicholas Hagger believed that Toynbee was more focused on America rather than on Britain since most funding came across the ocean, from the Rockefellers.
Over 40 years Toynbee was intimately engaged in RIIA’s activities working to create a World Government. The national states were all going extinct with the Rockefellers’ World Government coming forth in lieu thereof. Even though Toynbee’s works sounded quite fascinating, but regretfully, they were fully untrustworthy,
thought he.

Toynbee was a prominent member of the Fabian Society; in terms of ideology, his stance was closer to that of the Labor Party. Toynbee and his followers inclusive of Herbert Wells, Bertrand Russell, Bernard Shaw, the brothers Julian and Aldous Huxley never ruled out the international socialist movement was a potential alternative towards the creation of One State. In particular, Toynbee and his followers were very much impressed by the Bolshevist commitment to internationalism even though neither the Fabians nor the Royal Institute shared the Communist views.

Toynbee’s entourage included individuals who knew that building One State was a long way forward in terms of future prospects: achieving a cherished target by milestone, gradually. The creation of United Europe was a short-term goal to enable the dissolution of sovereignty by individual states. Toynbee was fortunate enough to have witnessed the Six European States signing off the Treaty of Rome in 1957; the European Economic Community (EEC) was created later on.

A year after the creation of RIIA, a mirror institution named the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was formed on the other coast, across the Atlantic Ocean. The founders of the organization included Colonel House and Paul Warburg (1868–1932) who was one of the initiators of the Federal Reserve System of the United States. The CFR members were Woodrow Wilson, Colonel House, and many other influential politicians, bankers, and businessmen. It is noteworthy to remember the following Council members: John Foster Dulles — he held the position of the Secretary of State under President Eisenhower — and his brother Alain Dulles, the chief of the CIA in his future role. John Dulles and Arnold Toynbee developed a close informal relationship. John Dulles, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rockefeller Foundation, helped ensure that the Royal Institute would on a regular basis receive financial support from the Foundation.

All Royal Institute’s publications would usually follow the Chatham House Rule. It implies that participants in a closed-door meeting will maintain their confidentiality commitment in terms of disclosure of names of individuals associated with the formulation of other opinions outside the small circle of RIIA members. Disclosures may only be posted without names associated with said opinions. The rule encourages maximum openness and frankness during internal meetings. RIIA’s official publications are the International Affairs and World Review journals.

Since 2005, the Royal Institute has been annually presenting the Chatham House Prize to the statemen or organizations which in the opinion of the members of Chatham House made the most important contribution to improving international relations over the past year. President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko was the first award recipient in 2005.

Five years ago, the Royal Institute published its analytical report entitled, “The Russian Challenge” which includes the review of the Russian foreign policy throughout the 2000 - 2015 periods and its recommendations to the “Collective West”. The report reflected on a pronounced anti-Russia orientation of the Royal Institute in all its activities.

Zmeselo,

that is a lot of information, I think. Thanks for sharing.

Is there a book or what is the source of the information, in case I may like to dig deeper or find a reference to understand the issues better?

Specially, I would like to know better about the reason why UK decided to leave EU and if there is a connection of the decision to leave EU has got something to do with the creation of cross-atlantic centered world order (single mega state)?

You're welcome, bro!

The info I provided can be easily summarized by the fact that Martin Plaut is a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, commonly known as Chatham House. This open "secret society" has a One World Govt agenda, as its primary mission. So it's not surprising if people like him go against patriotic (nationalistic) govts as that of Eritrea, and now of Ethiopia.

In the article, you can find the list of the number of books that clarify it deeper. The Brexit thing, I haven't studied yet why it has happened.

Martin,

Talked about the differences between TPLF and EPLF in the context of pre-1991. What about the border war, the final and binding ruling, the sanctions etc... Yes, Isayas was burning in hate, but not because of what happened pre -1991 Albanya or Russian style what ever that entails. It is the international final and binding ruling as well as the sanctions that Isayas felt like he really was wronged. Tell us about the illegal occupation of Badme for two decades, otherwise, shut the hell up.
