How come Amhara can have territory where there is no such called Amhara except the word Amhara was coined to mean mixed people? Mixed here is to mean products of two ethnically differentiated parents. Intellectuals, book authors and head of states foretold that there is no Amhara as pure ethnic line.
Nevertheless, the mixed peoples (victims of politically motivated marriage between ethnically different parents) living elsewhere in Ethiopia are claiming every piece of land n the Horn of Africa. For example:
Among neighboring state, Amhara claims border land with:

• Eritrea (Assab port)

• Sudan (Al-Fashqa triangle)

• S/Sudan (areas bounding the Gambela region)

• Somalia, proper(Ogaden region)

• Somali, the defector sate (areas bounding the Shinelle region)

• Djibouti (areas bounding the Afar region)

• Kenya (areas bounding the Borana zone of Oromia)

Amhara also claims territory over the federated states including:

• State of Tigray

• State of Oromia

• State of Afar

• State of Benishangul-Gumuz
