General Samura Yunis Mosque (Axum, Tigre)

Post by Gesgis » 19 Dec 2020, 15:18

It is tiresome, the cat-n-mouse game between ENDF the & "Adwa rats". It really is. I am completely unimpressed. More so by the reward posted for the capture of these people. It is tiresome and embarrassing.

A more interesting news would be political resolution for the various grievances of the peoples and nationalities of "Tigray".

"Tigray" IS NOT a name of a people (nation). It is an amoeba like entity ( sometimes a place and sometimes a nation for no apparent reason ) created in the second half of the 19th century. Although its core constituent is the "Tigre" ethnic group, it has also absorbed the Irob, Kunama, Agew (Tembien), Kimant(Abergele), Agame and various other peoples.

A lot of people think of "Tigray" as Orthodox Christian. It is actually home to very ancient Muslim communities. One of these communities is the Muslims of Axum. This is a community that is banned from even building a mosque. And this is done so for no other reason than to perpetuate the wrong notion that "Tigray" is a monolithic society.

"Tigray" is NOT a monolithic society. And the Axum muslims have demonstrated that. They are the people that started the revolution against TPLF. And they should be the first beneficiaries of the change that took place. And it is high time they get their place of worship named after their own sun, General Samura Yunus.

The types of samora younus or keria ibrahim don't give a rat's asz about the plight of axum muslims and that's the last which comes to their mind for various obvious reasons.

The axum muslims have no one to blame other than themselves, they are timid, weak and are reduced to moaning and complaining. They have to grow balls and fight for their rights. Ethio-muslims and even some farsighted ethio-christians will stand by them.

"No one gets one's right by moaning" who said that?

P. S. Why you people call them TIGRE? They ain't TIGRE. They are tagaru.
TIGRE is an ethnic group in Eritrea who speak the TGRAYIT language. They have nothing to do with tigray. They don't even border them and their language is spoken nowhere in tigray or ethiopia proper.
