It was neither the wish of Eritrea nor of Ethiopia to see what is going on in Tigray at this very moment. Both President Issaias Afeworki Abraham and Prime Minister Dr Abyot Ahmed Ali tried to persuade Tigrayan leaders to take the path of peace but they refused. There was no alternative left when TPLF continued with its provocations culminating in the cowardly slaughter of the soldiers.

I don't remember why I used sarcasm as my nickname when I opened an account at this site 7 years ago although I have always enjoyed sarcastic jokes and sarcasm in everyday life. A lot of Americans don't get sarcasm though. Sarcasm is not bogus. It adds humor in writing.
What is happening in Tigray is vicious despots causing mayhem on the people of Tigray to stay in power. It is disgusting. There are a lot of other ways to stay in power without causing destruction. But the habesha political power formula is a zero sum game. Destroy - suppress - rule .....
