of Oromumma, and my question is how can that happen?

Ethiopia is the overarching entity containing other sub-entities, among which is also Oromumma. If you have compromised on the constituting elements, then you have already put yourself in an impasse of compromising the overarching entity itself.

This is from a technical point of view.

Oromia is not only one of the constituting elements but also the backbone of the encompassing major part.

If you don't care for Oromia, then you can't also care for Ethiopia and if you don't care for Ethiopia, then you didn't also care for Oromia.

I think this man has found now finally the right formula.

Let's develop ourselves and change ourselves and bring the bickering to an end for once and for all.

No one can dominate anyone else in the future Ethiopia, Ethiopia was made naturally to not to bend itself for such machinations.

No ethnic group in the country is more than 50% percent to single handily formulate any legislation, Oromia can't make Afan Oromo to become a federal language unless some other in the member of the federations will support them. To get such support Oromia has to concede something else in return.

Chauvinists can't also single handily impose any thing over the rest, simply because they don't have majority mandate over Ethiopia, they have to settle for their true size and finally start to respect and observe the constitution of the country and all of its provisionings.

This arrangement will also empower the significant size of the population in the country, doubed as minorities and sidelined by the majority power brokers in the counry.

In EPRDF parties of the Somali, Afar, Gambella, Beneshangul, Harari were mere observers of the decison making process in the country of their own. Now they have the option to voice their own opinion and influence the outcome of the decision process.

No one should be dominated and no one can dominate any other, unless we ourselves lend ourselves to such machinations.
