Right now, those able bodied Woyanies are heading into north-west of Tigray, probably to Sudan, the rest are hiding in the villages and barns along the way. Earlier, they left all their cars and trucks because of the poor dirt roads in this remote region of Tigray. The Tigraian leadership was so unprepared, they left all their documents, ID cards, driving licenses, top secrete documents ... all over.
As the war lingers, the likelihood that many of them will survive diminishes by the day. The only top leaders who may have a chance of escaping are the once who had escaped earlier to their ancestral villages with lots of cash and gold, and the once that were able to hide in the poor neighborhoods of Mekele (Ala bin Laden way). For this the Federal forces need to prepare posters of "Dead or alive" and rewards for those persons who can provide correct information.
