I don't know why people with healthy brain lack very simple and buying thoughts when they come to power.

TPLF lost that opportunity. Through its few easily purchased primitive baboons from each ethnics, TPLF reign would be blamed for the 27 yrs massacre and sufferings that poor peasants and their children went through. History will reveal the Happengs for generations to come. It is simple. Just put aside 50% of your greediness and share to others.

Now you brought good point, what did these people do to you tole to your relative, except speaking out about the necessity of reconciliation and negotiation among Ethiopians. Tell me? They in fact did a lot of hurtful things. History will have it in its chronicles and encyclopedia. First, they slapped peace out right in the beginning - i.e. in when Abiy came to power. They embarrassed elderly mediators frequently; absurd of all, they targeted innocent ordinary Amhara and other tribes to genocide using OLF and directly of their own hands. This is not how reconciliation begins. They knew their Tribal Kilili and constitution is dysfunctional and inoperative to lead a country but they refused to hear and learn about it. In every case, TPLF are reactive instead of being proactive. We understand that because they come to power by gun, not by peace. Their birth was by gun and son is their death. From cradle to grave - rule by gun die by gun principle is alien to peace and reconciliation. If you are smart take a lesson. Don't cry about Oromo and agitate, Oromo's problem is economic just like Amhara, Guraghe, Wolayta, etc. nothing less and nothing more. These OLFism crap is an out of no where stuff and Oromo does not need this neither its b**sht tribal kilil.

I don't know how much the selected elders to mediate reconciliation were acceptable by TPLF. But, if I were TPLF, I could have tried, just to give them the benefit of the doubt.

In anyway, TPLF was calling for all inclusive dialogue many times, but your party didn't accept that, because that kind of "cheawta" could dethrone your uncle dream of becoming king.

Abiy, who seemed to be genuine in the beginning about two yrs ago, now became the first dictator in the history of that bloody empire. I know you know that how he moulded himself to that position both psychologically and physically. That won't help him. It would rather speeds up his demise.
