Division 21 interrupted its mission in Welega and came from there to South-Eastern Tigray accompanied by other divisions that were with it in Welega. Division 21 made history in Badme under the leadership of the late colonel Migbe, who is reputed to be the architect of Badme's liberation ( Zemecha Tsehay Gibat/Wefri tsehay Araribo), the historic division is now (as of today) completely wiped out at the South-Eastern front by none other than Tigreans, its original owners and makers. Some of its Tanks are still burning and the helicopter gunship sent to save it was shot down. Meshrefet has lost literally all the experienced divisions, he will be relying on the few remaining wedimedhin divisions,but they are also being buried in every part of Tigray they entered into (most of them have no exit).
