Who is fighting in Ethiopia?
The conflict pits Ethiopian government forces and allied militia against troops loyal to the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, which is the ruling party of the Tigray region. Ethiopia’s prime minister, Abiy Ahmed, launched military operations in Tigray on 4 November after he accused local authorities of attacking a military camp and attempting to loot military assets. The TPLF denies the charge and has accused Abiy of concocting the story to justify the offensive...

Dedebit Graduate Awetash. I thought you were an Eritrean? why do you wish Ethiopia to turn to Libya?

This is a pipe dream and uninformed. Ethiopia is unified and very strong with some problems.
It will build the dam and more dams will follow, and she will not negotiate with any Arab Egypt. Keep on celebrating the demise of Woyanies for now.

No! Rather Tigray conflict turns TIGRAY into a "
Catalonia of
Spain." I'm not gonna discuss the situation in detail like
invoking the constitution and so on; yet there is a great similarity here. Except that
Operation Anubis led to the arrest of only 14 senior Catalan officials, while the number of fugitives wanted by the central gov't of Ethiopia for rebellion and misuse of public funds are much higher

Tigray is a small province. This is about subduing rebels and should not be exaggerated to such level of significance. እንቁራሪት በሬ እከላለሁ ብላ ጮኻ ጮኸ ፈንድታ ሞተች ይባላል።

Assegid S. lol, totally wrong to compare Catalonia with Tigray. I can't believe how you got this analogy so wrong. Catalonia is economically powerful compared with Spain and on top of that it has a very long sea shore on the Mediterranean sea. On the contrary Tigray is double landlocked. It is has no sea outlet.

Hello Wedi; I see your point; but let me say that I'm approaching the event from just a simple and linear political crisis perspective. Hope you will agree with me now.
Thanks for the comment, Brother.
