It is ridiculous to ask the population to demonstrate against TPLF. TPLF-EPRDF liberated all Ethiopians from the brute dictatorial rule of Mengistu Haile Mariam. TPLF-EPRDF has committed political mistakes and was also an issue power abuse including corruption. On the other hand, TPLF-EPRDF has transformed Ethiopia from poor to developed economy. Schools, universities, hospitals,roads etc were built benefitting millions of people. Compared to Military and Monarchy rule, TPLF-EPRDF was much better.

Now Abiy is waging war against TPLF. Abiy was a security officer under TPLF-EPRDF. The power transition has some problems. Abiy postponed the election whereas TPLF conducted the election. The election should not have been delayed. But this does not mean TPLF's election is democratic. It is bewtter than not holding at all. But many political parties were excluded from the election in Tigray. EPP, EDP and other country wide political party's were not able to participate.

I feel both Abiy and TPLF are wrong. TPLF used the election for it's own survival but also for the people of Tigray including Ethiopia indirectly.

I think there should election everywhere in Ethiopia and re-election in Tigray. Costs of the election will be covered the federal government. Costs the regional government had to expend should be also covered.

Political differences should be addressed through dialogue. Otherwise Abiy and his supporters will be the loosers if war continues. Tigray and the oppressed ethnic groups like Oromo, Somali, afar, Sidama, Wolaita will join the war sooner or later. Abiy's government can be overthrown by force.
