#Confused. Opposition parties to Election board: "We are not ready for election"

Post by temari » 31 Oct 2020, 15:56

Opposition parties are confused. When the election was postponed they cry foul and when the election is to be held they also cry foul and say we are not ready for an election.

I have already made my stand concerning democracy and election very clear. Democracy is for a civilized society where different ideas can compete and flourish. In a primitive society that is tribal, ideas have no place. Everybody is not lead best ideas but by his own tribal instincts like a Serengeti animal. This kind of tribal and primitive society is in no way ready for democracy and elections. In fact it is irresponsible like handing a knife to a child. Let's first start to use our brains like humans and evolve out from our tribal instincts. Then we can talk about elections and democracy.

Btw, the so called opposition leaders were agitating ethnic cleansing and genocide on live TV and they deserve to be in jail for a loooooong time. As long as opposition politicians and activists don't fully divorce their politics from inciting violence and ethnic conflict, they should always be accountable for the massacre they cause.

Ethiopia does not need election. The country needs a care taker consensus transitional government. Abiy Ahmed has to be relived of his appointment. All so-called political parties have to be dissolved. These old duds have been the problem of Ethiopia through out their lives, they should be ashamed of themselves. When I see Merara et al I see their wastefulness to the country. The TPLF constitution has to be outlawed along with ethnic federation.
