The European Union has shown interest to support Tigray in banking, air travel and agriculture to counter Addis Ababa

Post by EthioRedSea » 09 Oct 2020, 09:41

There are some signs that The European Union will support Tigray in banking, air travel and agriculture to counter The Addis Ababa illegal government's measures.

Some EU member states are considering to grant Tigray the equivalent the blocked annual budget. Air travel will be important as Tigray has no access to the outside world except through Addis Ababa or Fin Finne.

Further co-operation in agriculture are planned, specially in the sector of mechanization of agriculture and strengthening of agro-industry. Vegetables like tomatoes, vines, melon, orange etc could be harvested for export to other countries, to EU member countries.
