The National Government of Tigray has many options to counteract any sabotage from ex-prime minister Abiy ahmed who is still controlling Ethiopia even though his tenure and the tenure of the parliament he sworn in has expired on 6th October 2020.
The international Community could force Abiy Ahmed to give power to the people's council until elections take place. The Government of Tigray can charge Abiy Ahmed for illegally sitting as head of a country.
