Every woreda (county) will be connected to the next one by an asphalted road in the next 10 years in Oromia
Please don't tell this to Horus, he will get a stroke if he became aware of this plan.

It is a good news that such ambitious plan is conceived in Oromiya. I would hope that at least a quarter of the goodies in Oromiya will also be true for the rest of the nation too.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑06 Oct 2020, 15:13Please don't tell this to Horus, he will get a stroke if he became aware of this plan.
I have no doubt about such ambitions planes for Oromiya will be put in practice. Just yesterday we heard the news that Oromiya built 35,650 classrooms in the past Ethiopian calendar year. That is an impressive achievement especially when you compare it with the 5230 classrooms built in Ahhara Region in the same time frame. It was Tigrai which used to pour all federal resources to its tiny region regardless of cost-benefit analysis...now it is your turn to do as you wish...

if you can show me any proof that they are diverting the resources destined for other regions to benefit their own, then I will join in hands with you and campaign against them. Equal share of the distribution of resources is one of the fundamental principles on which a strong and democratic Ethiopia will be built in the future.
If on the other hand your own people failed you to implement the projects efficiently and the same way others are doing, then please put your own house first in order before pointing your fingers at the others.
In fact before Oromo extremists started to create schism in the Oromia region, they were the Amhara extrimists who very much weakened the government there by claiming they can remove those in office withing just within very short time.
Now you can choose between the two, either start to accomodate and cooperate with your rivals (in your own house) and focus on developing your region or keep singing your songs of "Amhara ye sew lij wuha lik".
BTW. If Oromia gets developed then Ethiopia gets developed , the same is true for the other regions in the country, in my view.
And many people were talking (including the late Asamenaw Tsige) about over 10 Million Amharas living in Oromia, which means they too are beneficiary of the infrastructure in the region directly. If you care about Amhara, then join them and celebrate about the ambitious plan and pray it gets also realized .

Why you ever think that Hours would have a heart attack because Oromi got connected with Asphalt? However, like weyannes had done because Oromos control the federal treasure if they favor their region at the expense of the others that means a truble is brewing. The Oromo firsters mentality is no less poisonous than Tigray firsters one.

So the government benefits Oromia 7x more then it benefits amahra makes sense so Oromia gets 7x more roads schools hospital then Amhara this is ODP aka PeePee was perfect democracy yup as if Oromos outnumbered Amharas by x7 in the heads of PP aka ODP Oromia region is x7 more bigger then Amhara region oromo people are x7 more numerous then Amhara people the evil deeds of Shimeles Abdisa has been noted

The population size between the two regions is comparable give or take a couple of millions based on projections that are not tainted by TPLF's long hands. There are between 2.5 to 6 million people in Amhara region whose whereabouts has yet to be determined according to the last census in that country. The Amhara region has been denied of 30 years of budget that is equivalent to the amount pouring to the Tiny Tigrai for that length of period. That is a reparation to be restored sometime in the very near future...if we are to talk about justice and fairness.
I do agree with you that it is too unfortunate other than Tigrai and Oromiya, the rest of Ethiopia is being led by very incompetent and corrupted cowards who only care about their belly. These so called leaders do not have the balls to fight for what is just and most importantly, they are do nothing and know nothing bunches. Look at Demeke Mekonnen who is in that position forever but do not even squeak when thousands are murdered. However, no amount of logic can ascribe the 6 fold differences to incompetence and corruption only. If such is true, then the Federal government should have liquidated the Killil leaders right away for squandering 5 years worth of resources. The irony of the whole drama is that there are more students in Amhara region in terms of absolute numbers than in any other single region. No matter how they are discriminated, no matter how their rights are violated....the people still carry on. That's why TPLF/OLF has been barking for over a century to cleans the Amharas off of this planet...but they are now realizing that they can't defeat a spirit that has a fortitude built through centuries of resilience.
It is true that the development of Oromiya is the development of Ethiopia but it is also true that the development of Wolaita is the development of Ethiopia.... if we really are talking about a country conceptually. If we are to continue with the current state of politics tho, I am not confident that I could call every part of the country as my country. Unless you are foreign to the esprit and the practical implementation of the TPLF/OLF constitution, a Sidama in Oromiya and a Chinese in Oromiya do have equal legal standing in terms of rights of Citizenship. In current day Ethiopia, once you are out side of your designated enclave, you are considered a gypsy...unless of course your ethnic kin control the federal structure. What we are against is the notion that some are more equal than others in the same country.
First respect the rights of others in your Region and believe in equal participation of citizens in the politics of the country. Then and then only we will agree on if developing one part of the country is considered as developing every part of the country in practical terms.
