What Happened When the TPLF Declared Tigray's Independence in 1983?

What Happened When the TPLF Declared Tigray's Independence in 1983?

In 1982 the Soviet-backed Derg regime deployed 120,000 of its soldiers to Eritrea to launch its 6th military offensive dubbed "The Red Star Campaign."

It was then that the Derg soldiers that were stationed in Tigray were sent to Eritrea to take part in the Red Star Campaign, leaving a vacuum in Tigray which led the TPLF to believe it achieved the "liberation of Tigray", and went on to cut off all roads leading to Tigray. The majority of TPLF fighters also went back to their homes and farming thinking TPLF's mission for Tigray's independence had been accomplished.

From 1982 until 1984, due to TPLF's decision to close of all roads leading up to Tigray, and the subsequent cutting of all trade routes to Ethiopia, the region of Tigray experienced the worse famine in world's history, with over one million Tegaru starved to death! The entire world was shocked at the man-made tragedy in Tigray and rushed in to save Tegaru's lives by holding fund-raising activities using world's top recording artists.

Is history repeating itself?

It's highly unlikely that the international community suffering from Covid-fatigue will come to rescue the Tigray people prone to TPLF-made tragedies of Biblical proportions. With no Michael Jackson around to sing for their suffering, this time the Tigray people will suffer in silence, and in total solitude.

They said, the only 2 ambulances in Tigray are ordered to park in front of Axum Hotel waiting for an emergency call from the Hotel staff. Meanwhile, the oppressed people of Tigray have gone back to ancient times. :P :P

Worqawe (Golden) Woyane are always leaving/abandoning their people in the field/ground.

When Meles & other Woyane leaders were asked by Tigray people "Where are all our kids??" ; the cold/heartless answer they were given was "If they have not returned to you by now, then you already have your answer!!"

The Tigray kids were abandoned on the battlefield & Worqawe Woyane refused to retrieve their bodies even though truce was guaranteed/granted to them to collect the bodies. Rather then bury the poor souls & admit the losses, cold hearted Woyane intentionally chose to let them rot in the sun.

When push comes to shove, i just naively hope that most of the tigray people will abandon the Woyane leaders that have often backstabbed & abandoned them (& all their neighbors)...just to save their own necks & greed (stolen wealth).
